My wife and I both had cataract surgery at Austin Eye performed by Dr. Marie Bui. Our experience couldn’t have been better. The whole staff is warm, welcoming, and totally professional. Lois had a little residual cloudiness, which Dr. Bui easily removed in a free follow up.

I agree with the above: very rude, didn't want to answer questions and I had no idea what his plan for me was when he left the room. I'm not going to spend 12k on a surgery with a doc who makes me feel like I'm wasting his time. I think there are better options out there. I felt like he could've cared less if I did the surgery.

My experience was not a good one. Money was the most important issue. His father was completely different experience. I would get a 2nd opinion...

I first learned of Austin Eye through their TV commercial for Laser Lens Replacement. I was very interested in learning more about the procedure, so I did my homework and based on reviews and recommendations from people I know in the local healthcare industry, I decided to see Dr. Wong. The whole experience from the initial visit to post op has exceeded my expectations in every way. Dr. Wong and all of the staff made me feel very comfortable before, during and after my procedure. I could tell Austin Eye must be a great place to work because everyone was upbeat and caring. Everything was explained in detail and Dr. Wong updated me throughout the procedure. The best part of all, I can see 20/20 with no glasses! Regarding cost, all I will say is, you get what you pay for. I decided to pay out of pocket for the upgraded lenses. I could have saved money by going with a cheaper lens, but quality was more important to me. And I never felt pressured to go with the more expensive lens

ICL surgery. Corrected my severe nearsightedness (-12.5/-13 with astigmatisms). I now have 2020 vision. Will refer him to everyone.

I recently had lens replacement on both eyes with Dr. Shannon Wong and I couldn't be more pleased. I am so happy to not have to wear glasses anymore. My experience with Dr. Wong and his entire staff was so pleasant and efficient. Everyone was so knowledgeable and kind. This was truly a life changing experience for me.

Your eyes aren’t something you want to mess around with, so I put considerable research into finding the best doctors in Austin or Dallas to perform ilasik. Dr. Wong had great reviews so I scheduled a consultation with his office. The staff are all warm and professional and I was glad to see how carefully Dr. Wong and his staff made sure to get all of my measurements exactly right, checking and double checking. I was never pressured into getting the procedure. The surgery went well and although the prospect of eye surgery made me fearful, Dr. Wong was calm and reassuring throughout the procedure. It is the day after and I was corrected from a -6.5 contact lens to perfect vision. I highly recommend Dr. Shannon Wong if you are considering ilasik!

I had excellent care from Dr Shannon Wong and the staff at Austin Eye. This was for Cataract surgery for both eye's. I now see with out glasses for distance and use readers for up close work and reading. Follow their instructions and you be amazed with your outcome. Thank You ALL!!!!!

I received excellent care from Dr. Shannon Wong and his team. I went to Austin Eye for lasik surgery to treat my near-sightedness. I felt very welcomed and comfortable during my visits. The surgery went great and I see better now than I did with contacts/glasses. I’m very thankful for Dr. Wong and his team!
