Sharyl R Brasher Giles's Online Review Report Card

I have been going to this practice for the past few years but recently I just don't understand what ball dropped lol? So I've been having severe lower abnormal abdominal pains, my gynecologist was not able to find the issue on a sonogram, xray, or visual exam so she scheduled a CT. The day after the CT, I look on the patient portal and my dr. Responded, "everything was normal, I even checked with another dr to make sure." Okay cool but Im still in massive amounts of pain sporadically, with no info or even a start of what to do. So I decided to double check my results from the CT and it stated, that I have a 7cm cyst in my right kidney, fluid in my lungs, and a 2.3cm cyst in my reproductive area. I attempted to call the office multiple times to see why I was mis informed, and unfortunately I was not available to wait, I waited on hold for 30 mins each time, 3 times before giving up. Its ridiculous that this was "looked over" and I was informed incorrectly, I am currently just glad that I had access to my test results. What if I didn't have access to a computer, or god forbid I trusted my doctors word? Anyways I have another dr apt scheduled for the near future at a new doctor to hopefully get some answers. In my personal opinion, I will not go to this practice ever again.

She's a very good doctor. Her office and hospital could use improvement on internal coordination and scheduling.

Dr Brasher-Giles has been my OBGYN for 10 yrs, she had delivered via c-section 3 of my babies and walked with me through multiple miscarriages. I feel so blessed to have found her as a physician. She is top rated in her expertise and handled my complicated courses with ease and open conversation. She is a physician that thinks and also has a heart and emotional connection. I would not change anything about choosing Dr Brasher-Giles for my care and I hope those reading this who need an authentic, kind and outrageously smart physician make an appointment with her!

I saw Dr. Brasher-Giles a few months ago and she was absolutely awesome! She made me feel very comfortable and her 'vibe' in general is really easy going. She was willing to answer all of my questions. I was in and out of the office, as a new patient, in less than an hour. it was only a routine check up and it went better than anticipated. I would definitely recommend her!

Unfortunately you can't expect this doctor to give you some attention you need. During our pregnancy we saw her only 2 times. She missed baby delivery and then we were waiting for too long to just go home from the hospital because she was too busy. So I don't know anything about her professional skills but if you want to see your doctor - choose another one) Thanks.

Dr. BG has delivered all 3 of my babies and I have nothing but praise for her and her team. I live in South Austin and drove north for all 3 pregnancies/deliveries just for her! She never made me feel rushed, very genuine, kind and most importantly, knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. BG and her NP Jackie Sweeton!

I absolutely love Dr. BG. She is extremely sensitive to me as someone with a background of sexual trauma, and is always willing to discuss any concerns. She always runs late, but that's because she spends time with each patient- so just plan on that. She is soothing and comfortable, and I remember thinking after my first appointment with her that I wished I was pregnant just so she could deliver my baby.

I had to go to Dr. Brasher-Giles last minute and was worried after reading a lot of bad reviews for other doctors at her practice. I didn’t read her reviews so I wouldn’t go in with any expectations and I was blown away! She was so comforting and nice and explains everything she’s doing without being condescending. She’s also easy to talk to which is a great quality in a doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr. Brasher G since I moved to Austin. She is professional, kind and educates her patient. I would highly recommend her to any of my family and friends. Blessings as you continue to serve your patients and am looking forward to have you deliver my babies in the future.
