List of Sidney T Robin's Reviews
Dr. Robin is a GREAT primary care physician. I've been with him for about 10 years, and I wouldn't change a thing
What is the best part of working at the company? Working at Austin Concierge Medicine was the worst experience of my life. Dr. Sidney Robin is a very rude person and doesn't respect any of his employees. First week working there I was warned by another employee on how disrespectful Dr. Robin was but I didn't want to judge too quickly and thought it was just employee mistakes. As I continued to work there I heard the way Dr. Robin would be little and scream at other employee I should have left right then and there. He has such a horrific turnover on employees , he's lost 20+ employees just because the way he is. He's lost employee that would go above and beyond for him and that was never enough for him. While working there new employees came in and out within weeks. I finally left after being screamed at in front of other employed and patients. I heard a lot from his patients that have been his patients for over 30+ years that they know how Dr. Robin is but to stick it out. I suggest no one work here and don't "just give it a try" no pay is worth the disrespect, yelling and screaming everyday. Please stay far away from this place. Insurance is also not provided.
Dr Robin is the only doctor I have ever had as a 68 year-old adult. I saw a bad review because of the cost, but the value you get with such personalized care is priceless. His vast knowledge of the human body, his level of skills, and his personalized service is unmatched. Dr Robins study of the heart is something you don't see in a GP, which helps tremendously if you are at all interested in preventative medicine. I've had a few emergencies in the last few years and his availability and guidance through the crisis was a key component to the best possible outcome. I still use Dr Robin, despite being on Medicare and living in another city. His bedside manner and overall demeanor has a calming effect to deliver great care at a time when the system is failing many.
He is always very thorough, making sure we understand what he’s saying. Been with him close to 30 years and believe he’s absolute best
Ego prevents care Dr. Robin’s ego gets in the way of his ability to take care of his patients. He’ll try to sell you his $100 per month lab subscription instead of prescribing a needed medication. If you have a complicated problem, he’ll only care if you keep throwing money at him, as though the $3,000 annual fee is only good for a once annual appointment. He treats his staff like they’re beneath him (which is why he can’t retain anyone!) He’s a quack who only cares about filling his pockets. Avoid.
I have been a patient of Dr. Robin for over 40 years. My entire family has become his patients during that time also. Dr. Robin and his staff have treated us for a wide-ranging number of ailments and we have complete confidence in him. He has, in fact, saved our lives.
Dr. Robin runs a concierge medical practice where you pay a monthly fee to access his services. Although this may seem odd, it allows Dr. Robin to keep the number of patients he sees low, so that he can provide personalized care to all his patients Additionally you get unlimited free visits, with low wait times, and can often see Dr. Robin the same day you call. Dr. Robin specializes in preventative care, which is so important. And when you have an issue that is beyond his skills, he has good relationships with all the best specialists in the area, and can often get you same day appointments with them as well. The overall cost is a bit higher than you would pay elsewhere, but you get a much higher level of care than at other primary care doctors. I've been super impressed with Dr. Robin for many years and I recommend him to everyone. Note that if you have a HSA medical plan, the monthly fee is a HSA reimburseable expense.
Have to pay over $100 a month just to be a patient!!!
My family has Dr. Robin as our family Physician. We have recommended Dr. Robin to a number of our friends. He and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I like the fact that Dr. Robin spends time listening and discussing my health concerns with me. I like that I can get appointments, check my personal records, review medications and more online. Because of his concierge medical practice, I feel that I get personal attention and faster, more available access to medical care. With the Lab across the hall, I get blood work and other test completed much faster and with much less hassle.
Antique medical practice (low-tech, antiquated equipment, prehistoric record-keeping, etc.) Do yourself a favor and keep looking. Plenty of other great MD option in Austin.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
