She is very knowledgeable and really enjoy her sense of humor which puts you at ease. On first visit she was able to sit and look at my medications and wha was the cause of my kidney issue. Previous doctor totally missed it.

For years I had struggled with fluid retention and low potassium. Then I met Dr. Birewar. She ran tests, determined the problems, changed my medications, and in short time my fluid retention was almost eliminated and my potassium level where it needs to be. She is proactive in keeping up with her patients, proactive in eliminating medication if possible. I am so thankful for having her as my nephrologist! Only MINOR complaint, I am an older woman and she speaks a bit too quickly so I often need to ask her to repeat :)

Dr. Birewar and her staff always treat me well, and go the extra mile to make sure that I understand everything. They are all EXCELLENT!

Dr. Birewar is incredibly caring and thoughtful. She spends the time to truly understand your situation and helps to find the right solution for you. Her staff is fantastic - they do an incredible job getting you in the office efficiently, but also have a real, human touch. It's a great office to go to.

When I first met Dr. Birewar, I thought to myself "ok finally a doctor that listens". My last appointment with her was the worst. I drove all the way to Cedar Clinic for my appointment just to be highly disappointed. As she was giving me my blood work results, she kept yawning and a couple of times she mumbled as she was trying to stay awake. The moment I started to asked questions for the next step. She kept nodding(couldn't believe she was falling asleep). At the end of our appointment all she said "well we can't keep testing you because we may find nothing or I can just makeup a fancy name to an illness that doesn't exist". I was shock and couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was left speechless. I decided never to see her again and continue searching for another neuphrologist. 2nd doctor from ADC that disappoints me.

Dr. Birewar was my nephrologist back in 2012 when I was diagnosed with rhabdomyolosis and nearly died. She has a wonderful bedside manner, and was very patient and kind with me. I believe her work and the work of many other specialists, plus prayer, saved my life. I highly recommend her.

I am a regular patient of another Nephrologist that is a partner of Dr. Birewar. I was admitted to the hospital for a kidney biopsy that went wrong. My regular doctor was unavailable to visit me at the hospital. Dr. Birewar happily stepped in and went out of her way to ensure my wife and I were compforted even on her own time... what a person!

I've been seeing Dr Birewar for about 1 1/2 years and find her very bright, agreeable and she listens to me. SHe also has a good sense of humor which is very helpful for me and my personality.
