Stephanie Mcnelis's Online Review Report Card

I have seen numerous gynecologists throughout my life beginning with life-altering, painful periods that began at 15. I truly felt Dr. McNelis showed little interest in me as a patient because I wasn't planning to have a baby. She was rushed, dismissive and scoldy with me at every appt. She did not address my medical needs. She treated my exams as a waste of her time. I was experiencing unusually intense vaginal itching and was seeking a diagnosis. She said it was probably because I was getting bikini waxes. (!!!) She also is the only gynecologist (and I've seen MANY) who told me that my being on birth control (taken to treat painful, 14-day long periods) for so many years would mean I'd never be able to conceive if I tried to. Every other gynecologist I consulted prior and after seeing her assured me that if I went off birth control, my cycle would resume normally. For gynecological care unrelated to having a baby, SEE SOMEONE ELSE.

I had a previous miscarriage and she not only helped me with support but also took my concerns seriously, gave me her number and the nurses number I was able to call 24/7. I haven’t had very good experiences with obgyn in the past, but she is super sweet, very helpful, and makes you feel comfortable also. I will be going to her for any further children she’s phenomenal!!

Dr. McNelis is amazing. I had been seeing another Obgyn during my pregnancy and got so fed up with her that I changed doctors at 37 weeks. This was my first pregnancy and Dr. McNelis sat down and talked with me for about 30 minutes about what I should do if I go into labor and what I should expect. She spent more time with me in my first visit than my other doctor had spent with me the entire rest of my pregnancy and thank god she did - I went into labor the following week! I was SO much more confident and prepared because of her and so grateful that I decided to switch. She really cares about her patients and it shows.

Dr. McNelis has been my OBGYN for many years, through the pregnancy and birth of two children. She's always been informative and helpful and guided me in the care of my body and mind.

I have been going to Dr. McNelis for many years. She puts me at ease during annual appointments. She is efficient and I never feel rushed. She is exactly the kind of doctor I wanted during my delivery.

Dr. McNelis is awesome. She cares deeply about her patients. Each one of my visits was nothing short of helpful, as she listens and suggests the best health plan. Thank you for being you!

My primary care physician referred me to ADC-North Clinic OBGYN for a menopause issue, and as a new patient I had a very positive experience with Dr. Stephanie McNelis and her office staff. Dr. McNelis asked questions and listened carefully as I described my concerns, and she suggested a plan of testing for diagnosis. Her office promptly phoned me with the test results and explained treatment options. I was impressed with the communication skills of Dr. McNelis, her responsiveness and the organization and efficiency of her office staff.
