Addressed unplanned issues quickly and thorougly Had some skin infection issues that came up. In a lot of pain and discomfort. He quickly assessed the issue, gave me options and we agreed on the next steps. He took great care in dealing with the pain management and getting me on my way. Unfortunately, this condition has come up twice and both times addressed professionally.

I also had a bad experience. For some reason he felt combative whenever I tried to ask questions or advocate for myself. Missed some serious issues I have been mentioning concern about for years. Would not recommend.

Never has a Doctor paid such close attention to my heathcare needs Truly are rare individual

Appointments are near impossible to make and office has asked for sensitive information through unsecured channels; not through their secured portal. Without notice practice would implement policy changes with no warning, causing further delays for medication refills. Doctor also sent perscriptions with wrong labels to pharmacy and dragged their feet on correcting the label for almost a week. Nurse staff makes it impossible to speak to doctor and in most cases are barely first tier troubleshooting towards issues one might have. When office and doctor were called out on their unprofessional attitude, doctor made no attempt to change the apathetic behavior and only the office manager made any efforts to rectify the issues. Doctor and administration staff do not see the patients as people, only as paychecks and hindrance.

Dr. Hutto is the best physician/PCP I have ever seen. I have loved having Dr. Hutto as my doctor over the years I've lived in Austin. I have never encountered a physician so caring and dedicated to patient care. He is inclusive and affirming, and as a queer woman I have always felt safe with my care in his hands. I am truly so sad that I won't be able to see Dr. Hutto anymore once I move out of state.

I’m so grateful to have Dr. Hutto as my primary care physician. He is an excellent clinician who genuinely cares about the whole health of his patients. His office also has a lab so blood draws are extremely convenient.

Takes his frustrations out on patients The in-office visit was great (April 2022). But the entire experience was ruined when he blamed me for his prescribing a medication that was not in my insurer's formulary. He claimed it was impossible for him to know what was in the formulary and that prescribing anything for me would be pot luck. Such a petty and harsh attitude.

Great Dr. Takes the time to listen and hear you out. Never rushed and never felt like just a number.

Dr.Hutto is always respectful, attentive, and caring. His staff respond to questions in a timely manner, and I've never felt rushed during the appointment.

Great experience with Dr. Hutto. I found him to be direct and honest in his explanations of my conditions. He listened well, was able to diagnose a rare condition which had confounded other doctors. I found him nonjudgmental and supportive with my health issues. I highly recommend him.
