Synergy Homecare's Online Review Report Card

I needed post-procedure transportation, and I requested service from two other medical transport companies 2 days prior to my procedure. I called again—they never returned my call to schedule. Thankfully, Synergy of South Austin was on the list of approved transportation services from the medical center. Aaron and Mitzi were incredibly professional, accommodating, and provided excellent service—and, some much-needed humor. Thank you both!

We have used synergy for over a decade on and off. Other than a few minor hiccups they have been good. But this last need when I broke my shoulder on Monday afternoon and needed someone to take care of my disabled wife. They had someone out within 3 hours and I hadn't used them in 7 years. They stepped up big time and that doesn't go unnoticed. I was so appreciative of Yammile and she did it without updating our paperwork. We did that a few days later. But I was so impressed with how they took care of a long time customer in a time of need. They are first rate.

We used Synergy for assistance with my Mom as she declined but wanted to remain in her IL community. Margaret (Margo) Barba and her dedicated team of loving caregivers allowed the family to step back as they cared for Mom as if she were their own family and Mom loved them all so much. Not sure what we would've done without Margo, Rosa, Robin, Kristina, Amy, Grizelda, Ari and so many others-they became members of our family, some of whom drove 8 hours to attend Mom's funeral. I understand that Margo and some of her ladies are no longer with Synergy and have branched out on their own (wishing them all the good fortune to come); my review is based on their time with Synergy. We will always be grateful for their love and devotion.

My first experience with Synergy was a huge disappointment. They were to provide home care through Bright Horizons and i received a notice on a Sunday night (<12 hours prior) that the caretaker was unavailable due to a doctor's note and no replacement and no response to my messages. I have no trust in this agency for my home care needs.

I have been meaning to do this for a bit, but processing the death of my father in October meant that I am just getting to it now. I am SO appreciative of the care that our family received from Synergy while my dad was on hospice for well over a month at home.<br><br>I can honestly say that there is no way we could have kept our dad at home without Yamille & her team's support. At the rare times that the schedule needed to be adjusted, Yamille was on top of it, ensuring we were always covered. Having the carers in our home 24 hours a day meant that my mom was able to do the things she needed to do to maintain her well-being - attend church, sleep through the night, have a partner in caring for our dad's needs as his health declined.<br><br>Each person that came (Mercy, Propencia, Liberty, Rosa, Justine, Margot and I am so sorry if I am forgetting someone) was kind and patient as at times, our dad was really struggling with his emotions and his level of clarity. They never lost their composure and always treated him with respect and dignity even when he was angry.<br><br>I need to give special props to Rosa who was often with our dad overnight - she went above and beyond, talking to him, praying over him, holding his hand, combing his hair, scratching his back. The love she showed was a comfort to me, my mom, and sister, and we can only imagine how much it meant to our dad as he moved toward passing. She is truly an angel that was brought to our family in the most challenging time for all of us.<br><br>Thanks to everyone at Synergy who was part of our lives. We couldn't have done it without you.

We needed temporary home health while in town for the weekend. The whole staff team was amazing. They were compassionate, kind, and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure my dad was appropriately cared for.

They will work with the Caregivers. I like that. Understanding

We have had a great experience with Synergy of South Austin. The owner Yammile is very responsive and meets our scheduling needs. The caregivers are compassionate and extremely helpful with caring for my Mom who has Alzheimer’s disease.
