Very professional, great bedside manner, I felt very comfortable talking to her, good listener, all around awesome!

My first visit was excellent. The receptionist and front desk staff member at the clinic was very professional and excellent social skills. Sometimes there is a sense that the non medical staff go through the motions and do their job but do not have real Interest in the patient. That was not my experience with this practice. I was listened to and addressed in a respectful and positive manner. I made several phone calls before my appointment My requests and questions were answered kindly. Dr Kroeker was very helpful, and again she took the time to address my concerns. Her demeanor was excellent and I felt confident in her care. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. The pre-visit preparation also was tailored to be very efficient and helpful. Dr Kroeker is an excellent human being. I recommend her practice wholeheartedly.

When it was determined that one of my parathyroid glands was hyperactive, which required surgery to remove it, I was concerned at many levels. My physician recommended that I consult Dr. Teresa Kroeker, who turned out to be extraordinary. During my office visit, Dr. Kroeker explained the procedure very thoroughly. Most importantly, she also outlined the consequences of not performing the surgery in the long run. I was super impressed with her energy and confidence. She answered many questions I had both during my office visit and subsequently by email in almost real time! Despite my anxiety, I was certain almost immediately that I found the right surgeon, and that she would do a great job. On the day of the surgery, she explained the procedure again and was super confident of the outcome. Given that it was best to undergo the procedure, I am super lucky to have found the right surgeon. Dr. Kroeker deservedly enjoys a great reputation in the field. She is simply superb, not only as a surgeon but also as a down to earth person with the great ability to communicate with the patients. I would recommend Dr. Kroeker in a heartbeat should anyone have any issues related to thyroid or parathyroid. I should also mention that Lori Latimer in Dr. Kroeker’s office is an embodiment of efficiency and friendliness. Dr. Kroeker and Lori make a great team who ease the concerns of anxious patients.

FYI, I contacted the office thru email and had a brief conversation by email with the office manager. If anyone looking to get healed from hPTH that has MAP insurance you will be turned down. I asked the office manager if they would consider getting MAP approved, which another doctor in Austin for my back issues did because they earnestly wanted to help me. Doctor's who are in the business of healing and helping people - should do so even if they need to take extra steps. In my opinion, INTEGRITY is an issue here and that should concern anyone who wants a doctors that CARES.

Dr. Kroeker is efficient, kind, and very very intelligent. Something we had been worried about for weeks she made us feel confident about quickly. If you're in Austin and have any struggles with your thyroid, this is who you want to see. She was also dedicated to making sure I understood everything and what it means. Loved that I didn't leave with any questions. Her small private office was also very nice.... You'll be the only one in there at your time and get her full attention. How nice is that!? Definitely eased my anxiety.

As everyone here has said, Dr. Kroeker is the best. She is respectful, professional, skilled, while also being accessible, humble, kind. She explains things in a way that is easy to understand and it never feels like she's trying to move you along. In a time where bedside manner can be lacking, Dr. Kroeker is there for you the entire way.

To say Dr. Kroeker is the best thyroid surgeon would be an understatement- she’s beyond that! I cannot thank her enough for all she did for me. I just had my full thyroidectomy with her 3 days ago and I am in the best health already. She saved all my nerves, parathyroid glands- everything was done perfectly! Her office staff (Lori) is also very nice. The moment I called Dr. Keoeker’s office for my first appt- I knew I was in good hands. Scheduling was easy and the experience was just phenomenal! Dr. Kroeker met me pre-op at the hospital, she met my husband post-op and me again next day. She called me when my pathology report was back. Simply the best- in every possible way. My God had mercy on me when He introduced me to Dr. Kroeker!

Hands down Dr. Kroeker is one of the best surgeons out there. She is brilliant. I love how she spoke to us and explained everything in detail. She was warm and never condescending. She is methodical and professional. Also, we found out that she requests special rooms with a view because she wants only the best for her patients. How thoughtful is that?! She truly understands that there are many factors to healing. Finally, she has a very strict covid policy so only the patient is allowed in the office. At each appointment my husband went in to the office and I was tied in by phone.I highly recommend her and truly admire her determination to keep herself, her staff and her patients covid free.
