List of The Medspa Austin's Reviews
Brooke is a skin guru. I trust her with all my skin care, derma planing, hydrafacual, and micro needling. She’s also a wiz with lasers! I love her and have been seeing her for years! The best!
Love these hydra facials with Brooke as part of my skin maintenance program. Brooke’s professional expertise is valued. I have been coming to Brooke for eight years.
What a wonderful facial given by Erin at the Med Spa in Westlake. The hydra facial makes my skin glow and Erin is meticulous in her work. The entire experience is one-of-a-kind!
Brooke is absolutely amazing! Everyone should see her.
I can’t recommend Ashley Johnson highly enough. As someone who was hesitant to address men’s health concerns, I found her approach to be professional, compassionate, and completely judgement free .She took the time to listen to my concerns, explained treatment options clearly, and created a personalized plan that actually works ,what sets her and her office a part is their genuine commitment to overall wellness not just treating symptoms but addressing root causes and prevention . The office staff is also incredibly professional and discreet. If you’re looking for a provider who truly understands men’s health and treats patients with respect and expertise look no further. I finally feel like I have a healthcare partner I can trust.
Erin at the front desk is amazing. She is always smiling and goes above and beyond to help me. Brook is the best esthetician I have ever had. She does micro needling and is always thorough and gentle. Elizabeth does my Botox and filler. She is an artist with the way she is able to sculpt my face and do my injections. I am always getting compliments on my skin since I have gone to the Medspa.
Warning: Missing Shipment and Frustrating Customer Service. I've been a customer of The Medspa Austin since June of last year and have spent a total of $3,834 with them. Up until recently, I never had any issues when receiving my Trezepited shots in person. Nurse Practitioner Ashley Johnson and Dr. Paydon Newman both provided excellent care and really helped me achieve my goals--this review does not reflect on them at all. However, after switching to semiglutide, the first shipment arrived without a problem, but the second one never showed up. The UPS delivery photo was just a black screen, even though I was home all day. I filed a missing package claim with UPS and also contacted The Medspa Austin and the fulfillment company in Dallas. Everyone was polite and tried to help, but ultimately referred me back to The Medspa Austin because they needed to complete a form UPS had provided. Despite my efforts, The Medspa Austin would not replace the missing shipment, citing the "delivered" tracking information, and asked me to pay an additional $200 for a new shipment. I wasn't asking for a discount or a refund--I just wanted the shipment I had already paid for. This has been extremely frustrating, especially given the amount of money I've already spent and my previously positive experiences with their team. Until this missing shipment issue is resolved, I cannot recommend The Medspa Austin. However, I do want to emphasize that my negative experience does not reflect on Ashley Johnson or Dr. Paydon Newman, who both provided wonderful care.
So thankful for The Medspa Austin. When I moved to Austin I tried a few different medspas and was turned off by aggressive sales techniques, less than welcoming staff and a lack of thoroughness in treatments. From my first visit to the Medspa I felt welcomed by Lauren and now Erin. They answer my questions without pushy sales tactics. I liked the idea of a membership to stay on top of my skincare. Their packages are competitive and I realized like most things “maintenance” is needed for quality results. The best part is Brooke, a well-qualified esthetician, does great work including hydrafacials, microneedling, and laser, and more I’m sure. She is detail oriented which has meant great results for my skin.
The medspa Austin is great! Very knowledgeable, helpful staff and they are always on time with the appointments. They are very conveniently located with 2 locations and the spas are always neat & tidy! I love that they do women’s health as well as cosmetic services. A one stop shop to look and feel your best!
All I have to say is...Elizabeth! She is the absolute best injector. She is so careful and cautious and discrete/conservative. She really takes her time and does such a good job. She is super particular and really listens to what you want. She goes to the latest conferences and is up on the latest uses for fillers and botox. I won't go to anyone else for scultpra, prp or filler. She's awesome at under eyes too! Not only that, she's kind and compassionate. Thanks Walden Medspa and Elizabeth! So glad I found y'all!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
