Dr. Loftus is a great doctor and he is very compassionate. My wife surgery was a success and the doctor was always available during her recovery time. I would highly recommend him and his great team.

Dr. Loftus & all his stall were very helpful, welcoming, & professional. He seemed confident he could fix the problem of my back with no invasive surgery. I’m anxious to have the Paddle Surgery on Jan. 13th unless he has a cancellation sooner which I am praying for.

Dr. Loftus and his staff are friendly, courteous, respectful and professional. He actually took the time to listen to my wife and I, as we explained my symptoms. Then, he gave a very easy to understand explanation of why I am in so much constant and severe pain. Dr. Loftus gave us some possible ways to correct my problems and I feel like I am actually on my way to live a pain free life. After many years of suffering, I have hope. Update, 11/12/22 Another follow up visit. I have been dealing with constant daily pain in my neck, upper back and right arm that I didn't have before the surgery. At times, the pain is so bad that it's debilitating. It seems to be posture related. I can only been in certain positions and have minimal pain. The lower back pain is greatly diminished, but still present. Dr. Loftus has indicated that I am still healing and the PT will gradually improve my comfort levels. He has also removed all physical activity restrictions. He is confident that things will get better. I like Dr. Loftus. I hope and pray that he is right. Update, 12/16/22. My lower back is much better. I think that it's as good as it's going to get. My neck is getting worse, not better. I got in to see Dr. Loftus two weeks earlier than the scheduled appointment for a discussion about that. My thinking is that nerves are being pinched in my neck, due to changes in my cervical spine, related to the two level fusion. He does not disagree. I am being scheduled for an MRI myelogram with contrast to aid in diagnosis. I continue to hold confidence in Dr. Loftus. This complication from the surgery may not be something that could have been foreseen. It may not be related to any kind of error on his part. Having said that, it's been four months since the surgery. I think that, normally, I would be much further along in my recovery. The pain sometimes reaches a 9 on the scale of 1-10, even with the high dosages of hydrocodone. It's so bad that I can't think straight. I am sometimes crippled by the pain and totally immobilized. This has got to change.

Dr Loftus and his staff are fantastic in their approach to back surgery. I had a few reservations about back surgery because i didn't want it to hinder my capabilities for work and everyday life. Dr Loftus put those reservations at ease with his explanations and experience. Totally on track to complete recovery and looking forward to getting my motion back.
