List of Urology Austin's Reviews
Go literally anywhere else if you can. It should never be this difficult to contact a doctor's office. I've been calling this office for 2 days trying to cancel my upcoming appointment and have been placed on holds over 30 minutes multiple times and have yet to actually speak to anyone. I'm a current patient who has seen a physician here multiple times but I will never make another appointment because of how absolutely impossible it is.
20 year patient and was on hold today for 45+ minutes and no answer. This practice seems a shadow of it’s former self since the new CIO arrived.
communicating with UA is a joke. I had a TURP operation, had 2 infections and now maybe the third. All this in just over a month. I need help. trying to get an appointment is a joke. I have been on hold for more than 1 hour. I would not go to Urology Austin unless it was a last resort.
Poor office management of basic process of making appointments. Calls go unanswered, email requests for appointments also go unanswered. Red flag for how this office is managed. When the office bot response to customer issues about lack of responsiveness is “give us a call” you know this office is not a serious place.
Quite literally impossible to make an appointment here as they absolutely do not answer their phone and disallow voicemails. Between my referring doctor calling for more than 15 minutes and me spending nearly 2 hours over 4-5 attempts of calling in on-hold waiting for someone to pick up over 2 days, I'm not sure how this office obtains new patients and would greatly fear I'd never be able to actually speak to someone there if I was an existing patient. Eventually had to give up and called another highly rated provider in the area and was able to make an appointment within minutes for next day.
I am a patient with a doctor at Urology Austin Radam location. I need to talk to them before my appointment but it is impossible to reach them on the phone. Yesterday (May 31) I waited 60 minutes on the line and gave up. Today it was 30 minutes and that was enough. How can they expect to retain patients?
Dr Zaid is an amazing doctor..He is so knowledgeable and took care of all my questions and concerns.I'm happy with his diagnosis and treatment.Staff is friendly and very helpful.
If you have another option, use another option. I did a bunch of tests on April 4th. Haven’t heard back from them in a few weeks, total radio silence. Called them back, they told me it’s all in my online system. Into which I don’t have access because they botched my email (which is liferally my first name @ my last name). They promised to fix the email and call me back. I asked to call me in the morning since I’m in Europe now. Got a call my 1am at night (ofc I missed it). No email comms, so I guess they botched the email again. Wait time on calling them back is easily 30-60 minutes. And they cannot give you a test result over the phone, they need to call you back. Which they don’t or don’t respect your calling preferences you give them. 4 weeks in, still don’t have my test results. Still suffering from pains, Not sure, maybe their doctors are good. Never had a chance to find out.
Medical care is very good. Scheduling not so much. Always ALWAYS running late even early morning. Today I arrived 830 for an 840 appt. Didn't see anyone until after 9. (When I made the appt I stressed I needed to leave for work by 9.) Got to see my surgeon's asst for 5 minutes instead of the 15 I should have. I feel short-changed. Sorry guys, but you can do better.
BE AWARE billing department is a big scam. They overcharged me with $424 and they refused to issue a refund because I have a follow-up appointment with my doctor after 2 months!!!!!? I can't believe it. So instead of apologizing to me for overcharging me ,they wanted to keep my money for another 2 months because I have a follow-up appointment. What a scam!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
