I just saw Dr. Sundaram, and he is awesome - no complaints - very knowledgeable and friendly!

Am a long time patient of Urology Austin. Yes their phone service has forever been horrid! But this doctors service was great. Will see him again; need be.

All questions and immediate concer ns were addressed. Pleasant visit.

I'm a quadriplegic and while I am temporarily in Austin I developed a serious UTI. Dr. Sundaram understood the long term UTI issues quads deal with and offered to write an antibiotic prescription with follow up when test results came in or to wait for the test 1st. He also cautioned me about medical issues possibly causing recent infections. Bottom line: I was impressed he was informed on issues he likely doesn't see every day and, in fact, I decided to follow his advice on follow-up treatment. Side note, he has an excellent manner with patients

Dr. Sundaram, Thank you kindly for your expertise and our entire family appreciated the care you’ve provided to my loving husband. We thank GOD for giving Dr. Sundaram to us during the most fearful times of our life. We count our blessings! My husband retired from military on 09/2020 after 25 years of military service. On Apr 2021, he was diagnosed w/ kidney cancer. Our initial appt with Dr. Sundaram was very positive. He is a human being who understood our fear to this cancer. He was knowledgeable of his medical field and educated us what to expect. He did not wasted time, within a couple of weeks, my husband had his surgery. Dr. Sundaram was very attentive to my husband for the next 24hrs after the surgery and provided his phone to call him while on recovery. He gave us the BEST news that the procedure was curative to the cancer and chemotherapy is not required. On April 2022, my husband had his blood works and CT scans and cancer free !

Had a great first visit and the procedure was comfortable and clean. I felt extremely safe and reassured during the procedure.

So since the first one was deleted for whatever reason I’ll do it again :). I was referred by my insurance to this individual. He wanted my outdated imaging (over 3 weeks out of date), wasn’t willing to do new imaging considering it was a consult and was relying on the er notes from Aug 18th when I had the ct scan at the ER. He miraculously things a 4.0 and a 6.5 kidney stone wasn’t causing me any pain, disappeared or whatever. His entire demeanor during the appointment made me leave. He left me feeling disappointed. I’ve never had a doctor more rude in my life. Hopefully the other doctor I’m seeing in the same practice is more about following procedure and can do the right thing.

My experience today with Dr. Varun Sundaram was terrible. He made my visit very uncomfortable and therefore I won’t be coming back. He was unprepared and didn’t look at my ultrasound even though the office told me they would get all of that information. They had three weeks to get that. Then he physically examined my testicles and was aggressive and not at all considerate of me being in pain when he was feeling for my testicular lump. I already had told him I was having pain and he was still agg
