I have been seeing Dr Kancherla for over 2 years. He gives a very thorough examination and treats patients with respect and care. Isaiah and Stephanie were very attentive to my pain issues. I highly recommend Texas Orthopedics .

I was experiencing pain in both hip areas 3-4 years ago and my primary care physician referred me to an orthopedist. While my PCP diagnosed my condition, the orthopedist didn't provide me much in terms of how to recover from trochanteric bursitis other than a faded printout of exercises. The pain returned and was worse late last year. It rendered me unable to do my daily long walks. Since I had a very good experience with Texas Orthopedics, Sports and Rehabilitation on a severe ankle sprain years ago, I decided to call them. I made an appointment with Dr. Vishal Kancherla a week later. Upon arrival at the Quarry Lake location, patient registration took a bit of time, but the front receptionist was friendly and helpful. My appointment started with a brief conversation with the physician's assistant, then I was taken to get an X-ray of my pelvic area from two angles. Dr. Kancherla introduced himself and was very friendly and professional. He showed my X-rays to me and discussed his findings very clearly. There was one issue discovered, a disc degeneration but Dr. Kancherla listened to me explain my symptoms, pain, and a prior experience with trochanteric bursitis. He provided a thorough examination and agreed that the trochanteric bursitis was indeed the issue at the moment. He offered three solutions to help with my recovery, of which two are already making a marked improvement in my mobility and daily life. I look forward to beginning physical therapy soon on my road to recovery. I have confidence in Dr. Kancherla that he will take good care of me regarding the disc degeneration if that becomes an issue. Thank you very much, Dr. Kancherla.

I so appreciate Dr Kancherla. He listens well, doesn't apply pressure, gives thoughtful consideration and works with me to develop an appropriate treatment plan. He and his staff are fairly efficient and the schedule runs pretty much on time. It's easy to recommend Dr Kancherla.

Dr. Kancherla has been helping me with my spine issues for about a year now. He has kept me very informed on what my options are and we are making great progress correcting the problem. He does a great job making you comfortable with the procedures and he uses great care while working on you. I highly recommend Dr. Kancherla and Texas Orthopedics!
