Westbank Pediatrics's Online Review Report Card

I have always taken my daughter Georgia to Dr. Malik, ever since she was a newborn. That was over 16 years ago. Dr. Malik has always taken the time to care for my child and never made me feel rushed. My daughter has always felt comfortable with Dr. Malik as well. She is friendly, welcoming and the staff is always ready to assist. We miss you Dr. Malik. 🙁

My first impression of this clinic was that it was not kid friendly. The walls are bare and dirty. I have since transferred my son to a clinic that is much closer to my house and SO MUCH more kid friendly and clean. The newborn visit was a total joke. The kicker for us is that they are requesting $10 fee to have our sons medical records faxed to us. I assumed the fee was for postage/ cost of faxing, so I asked the receptionist if I could just go pick them up to avoid the fee. She said no there was still be a fee, seems a little ridiculous in my opinion but whatever.

When bringing home Evangeline, I was a little nervous due to her weight loss. Dr. Malik reassured us, was kind, and very experienced. Her demeanor is lovely and patient. She set a second follow-up for us, and even gave us some formula to help get started “fattening” up. I feel lucky we found her as our pediatrician. You can tell she loves babies.

Was referred to her when my daughters appoint was canceled by another doctor. They blew me off and said my daughters ring worm (which is spreading across her chest at this point and causing her extreme discomfort not to mention its highly contagious) was not an urgent matter and could wait. Even after my doctor called back to ask them to see us, they said I had to get there in the next 30 min before they closed for lunch or no luck. I am a single mom working full time, they showed very poor patient care and concern and I would never take my child there now.

Not a very considerate doctor. I have two kids that go here and have been for a few years now, in the beginning she was great but for the past year she has been really rude and not caring too much about my kids conditions. She is always rolling her eyes with ever little thing you say that makes her have to do more work. I got xrays done two weeks ago and she still hasn't even looked at them. Everytime I call they say "there aren't any notes on here, Ill let her know" and blood work was done Monday and its Friday and nothing. So if you want quality care and communication from your doctor Dr. Malik isn't the doctor for you. Ill be switching pediatricians as soon as I get my test results back(if ever).

I have 3 little kids, oldest is 5yrs old and she has been coming here since 2 weeks old, my son is 2 yrs old and he has been coming here since he was just a couple of hours old, and finally my baby is 7 months old and she has been coming here since she was just a couple of hours old. Dr. Malik has taking the time to care and see my kids at hospital and in her office. I and my family LOVE Dr. Malik. She is wonderful and respectful. Even her staff. All great and awsome . She takes her time with my childern and knows everything about my kids , even if no fever-she knows whats going on with them. I will continue to bring all my little kids here..NO MATTER WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY NEGATIVE ABOUT DR. MALIK.

WORST DOCTORS OFFICE EVER!!!!!! Dr. Malik is afraid of children, very rude to the parents and is downright disrespectful. We just left her office and she snatched the phone out of my hand, told me my son was fat, said I was holding him wrong and told me my three year old talks too much. I have never met a doctor with such bad bedside manners. I'm pretty sure as a pediactic doctor you aren't supposed to be afraid of children, well Dr. Malik is. I don't recommend anyone go to this office. Take the time to find a better place to bring your children!!!

Visited the office with my son and the medical assistant Rosie was amazing! Communicated well with my child and myself! Explained the process and what she would be doing. You can tell she enjoys what she does! We need more nurses like her!!!
