Everyone should go see Dr. Speck. I’ve been seeing her for 7 years and she’s incredible. I’m 33 and I just got carded at The Cheesecake Factory.

Absolutely miserable experience with Westlake Dermatology. I went to have an age spot removed, paid in full at reception, and thought it was settled. A week later, I got a bill for the same amount I already paid—confirmed by my debit card transaction. I called the number provided, was told I hadn’t paid (despite proof), and was given the location’s number. At the location I get no one answers; I’ve left 3 messages over a month with zero response, yet I still get texts demanding payment. I’ve wasted hours on this, and now my only option is going to the location in person to sort out this billing mess. On top of all that, the age spot is still there—I’m not even convinced they know what they’re doing. Even if they fix the double billing and refund me, I will not get back all the hours I've wasted. Avoid this place!

I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Matthew La Cour and the exceptional care and expertise he provided during my recent diagnosis with melanoma skin cancer. Not only did he diagnose early but he went above and beyond to ensure I received the best treatment possible. Thanks to his guidance, action and precision it probably saved my life. Dr. La Cour's calm and confident demeanor immediately put me at ease, his thorough explanation of my diagnosis and treatment options. I felt empowered in my healthcare decisions. He even took time off the clock on his day off to answer my questions and discuss treatment. This is going to be a journey I need to monitor for the rest of my life and aftercare is important. It's been about a year now and Dr. La,Cour has always been available to me to answer questions. He has provided excellent aftercare and follow up. His dedication to his patients well being is truely commendable. I will be forever grateful for his care. I would never hesitate to recommend him to my closest friends and family. Dr La Cour is a true lifesaver and a shinning example of what it means to be a top notch health-care provider. It's hard to find a good doctor and I found the best dermatologist in Austin. I could not be in better hands. Thank you , Dr La Cour, for all you have done for me and also my husband.

The staff were very attentive and were quick to see me. Dr. Alvarez treated me with care and consideration, and took the time to address all of my concerns.

If you’re looking for perfection this is where you go. Dr. Atencio and team are fantastic! She did a spectacular job on my surgery. I get compliments all the time. And the aftercare guidance is second to none! Don’t underestimate how important that part is. Honestly, all of WL Dermatology has been great for me, even non-surgical. Sarah Grimmer has done great work on me as well, and I will continue to visit her for my beauty care.

I wish every doctor’s office was this good. Parking is easy, and the staff is so kind! I always have a great experience when I go to Westlake Dermatology.

My appointment with Matthew LaCour ran on time. Matthew was friendly and provided great advice and saw to my skin issue promptly. Recommended +++

I went in to have a spot frozen off, the provider did the procedure on the wrong area. I called to tell them it was done incorrectly, no one apologized and was just told to come back over a month later to have it redone. I then received a bill for the visit even though it wasn’t even done correctly. I have repeatedly called and left messages with the front office/office manager to understand why I’m getting billed for something done incorrectly and have been ignored. At this point I have to pay the bill, but maybe that’s the point in ignoring my calls.

Beautiful downtown office, friendly and efficient staff. The initial wait after checking in was less than five minutes. Dr LaCour was great. Parking was easy and free in the adjacent garage.
