Yessar M Hussain Md's Online Review Report Card

I recently had an appointment at the new location. Parking is SO much better than at the prior location, but the building at the new location is a lot of sterile gray decor. I didn't get to see Dr. Hussain, whom I admire greatly. The Dr I saw was fine, but she started walking out on me before I could finish a question I had. Very disappointing.

This practice overcharges and has very poor customer service. For $1200 I would expect more than just hearing from a nurse practitioner.

I requested a second opinion, with high hopes that he could offer new insightsminto my declining health. He spent most of the time during our visit texting and leaving voice mails with the neurologist who has managed my care up to now, asking that EMG test results be sent to him.

What a disappointment. After years of itching and intermittent thigh numbness, I wanted to see a professional for nerve issues. I was told Meralgia paresthetica from a chiro. After a consultation with Dr. Hussain, he recommended getting an MRI to make sure. So $1,200 MRI. Oh well, at least I now know what it is, yup, MP as expected by all. This isn't the complaint. What irks me is that he has no remedy or idea what to do about this. And charged $430 for a 10 minute consultation to tell me that. Sure, I get a recommendation to see another doctor to get a shot numbing my entire thigh temporarily, but I went through these hoops for no real treatment and no recommended exercises or stretches (none).

UPDATE: I went to a doctor who doesn't do her job solely for her paycheck, unlike Dr Reddy. And she actually listened to my symptoms, asked me questions, and didn't solely look at past notes and GUESS WHAT?! I was diagnosed with a neurological problem and nerve damage. So thanks for nothing Dr Reddy. Glad I didn't take your awful advice and referrals!! I would seriously urge you to reconsider your profession or go back and learn how to do your job right this time!!Dr Reddy will only look at the notes from a previous doctor and not listen to one single thing you describe about your symptoms. Even after you tell him that past doctor did nothing to help you and didn't listen to your symptoms. He will also yawn multiple times while you're speaking (thinking you can't tell through the mask) and certainly make you feel like your the last patient of the day. He will ignore any new symptoms you speak of if they aren't written on your referral even though your referral is from a month ago and it's very very very common for new symptoms to arise. If you're a woman and express any type of symptoms related to your reproductive system he will ignore you and tell you to talk to your gyno about it. Please avoid this man unless you have very very very very very very very obvious symptoms and he can give you a diagnosis without having to do any research or ask any probing questions. Lazy and unprofessional. He also asked if I thought medical cannabis would help (I'm not a doctor...) when I asked for his MEDICAL OPINION if he thought that would work. He said "I don't know" So WHY bring it up? Avoid this "professional"

Very narcisist. Don't explain anything. Don't care about patient. I needed more medicine that he said take for a month then call. But when I called they say he won't talk on phone. But he TOLD me to call. She said"doesn't matter.' So he just dropped me. I had to quick find another nerologist. Been with him for about a year and way way better.

I swore I wouldn't write a doctor review on Yelp, but the experience was bad enough that it warrants one.Dr Hussain is a solid, knowledgeable and empathetic doctor and made his evaluation report available to me far sooner than I had expected. He takes the time to listen to his patients, alleviate concerns, and explain what's going on. He exceeded all of my expectations.That's about it for the positives; everything else about his practice is truly horrible. It's difficult to get an appointment, almost impossible to talk to a person in the event of an issue unless you "lie" when following the phone system's prompting, and they are non-responsive on follow-ups via their online portal. The office staff and nurse practitioner are particularly bad, almost as much as their online portal. It's confusing, difficult to use, and sometimes doesn't send messages, which would be an inconvenience if the office responded to phone calls and messages. It's also a weird link, so if you do use the portal, make sure to bookmark it since it's not easy to remember.If I didn't need someone with his specific specialties, I would've gone somewhere else. I'm dreading going back for a follow-up.

Awesome doctor; they were able to help me with my issue.There was a small wait yes but just like every other medical office.

His service is just terrible. I had a first meeting with him, recommended, in October four months ago. Since that time I have called him back three times with zero followup. In fact during the first meeting he had somebody else’s blood test on my chart. He is supposedly the best for neuropathy. I think it has gone to his head and he treats patients will no respect or folllowup . Maybe the worse is his office staff that makes you go through hoops to leave a call back number. When they do call back it is a in your face one way conversation. The obnoxious attitude and the talking does not allow you to get in a word. Good luck. You have been warned.
