After many years of doctors and incorrect diagnosis, the symptoms were being treated but the cause was never discovered. While away from our home in another state and my doctors (previous), we were visiting family during the 2014 New Year's celebration. I was as close to a diabetic coma as you can get, luckily my niece and aunt are nurses. The two doctors treating me for years (family doctor & neurologist) would not return my desperate calls for help, nor would they see me when we went home early. I was told to go to the ER because the doctors would not see me, I went twice for fluids and insulin. I immediately started searching for another doctor, no one could get me in for 2-4 weeks. Dr. Aglieco heard his nurse talking to me, he interrupted and I was scheduled for the next day. Even though he has a very busy practice, I did not have a long wait and he visited with us for at least 2 hours. He stepped out from time to time to visit with patients that had an appointment but we never (not once) felt neglected or forgotten. The first visit I had he put me on a diabetes routine of oral and injectable medication for diabetes, within a month I was feeling so much better. THANK YOU DR. AGLIECO and STAFF, YOU ALL ARE AWESOME!
