Helpful and Compassionate Dr. Young put me at ease as I spoke to him about difficult moments and emotions. He is non-judgmental and yet highly knowledgeable. Each time I visit him he is warm, friendly, and remembers our conversations from previous visits. Most of all he is patient.

Dr. Young listens is very knowledgeable and is good at understanding what I am trying to explain through frustration of not being sure how to articulate it correctly. He is always kind and supportive never discounting my feelings. He is a really intuitive and I am very thankful for him !

Unprofessional health risk After 10years with a disability from a mental health issue Dr young dropped me for a medication administered by the hospital for kidney stone pain. The office was made aware but refused to reconsider. Dr young would not speak to me himself. In 5 mins Dr young undid 10 years of progress. SMH

Dr young undid 10 years of progress for a mentally disabled patient in 5 mins by dropping care due to a medication the nurse was informed was given in the ER for kidney stone pain. Dr young would not even get on the phone to explain this decision! They refused offers to obtain the medical records from the hospital showing it was out of the patient’s control which medication the ER dr chose.

Dr, Young has been my psychiatrist for 10 years. He is kind hearted and he listens to you. The first thing he says is how's it going. He's the nicest psychiatrist ever. My husband and I moved to New Braunfels. We make the 3 hour drive because we couldn't find a psychiatrist who actually listens to us.
