Dr. Blacklege performed my surgery at UAB and I am very pleased with the service I received. She was very thorough in explaining my process and follow-up treatment. I am extremely grateful for her professionalism and would readily recommend her.

This doctor has terrible bedside manner. They over-charged me from the in-network rate and my insurance called them and they said they "made a mistake" and would refund my money. It has been over 2 months and I have called 3 times and been told how sorry they were and they would definitely send me my money. I would never recommend this doctor.

Dr Blackledge did nothing I ask her to do an caused me to actually delay getting proper medical attention for one month.

Dr. Blackledge is an excellent and competent surgeon. She is professional and explained the surgery to be performed. She was caring both before and after the surgery. There were no complications. I would definitely recommend Dr. Blackledge and UAB for anyone requiring surgery.
