I don't know why Dr. Spurdon has so many bad reviews but I love her. She was my doctor when I got pregnant with my first child and had all the knowledge and answered every single question I had . She was very direct and honest , I love that in a Doctor! Dr. Spurdon is amazing and got down to business when it was time to deliver my daughter . She commands the room when she's in it and everyone listens. I respect that about her! She is the best OBGYN I've had and I will always refer my family and friends to her!

A friend highly recommended Dr. Spurdon. I called for an appointment and unfortunately did not make it past the extremely rude receptionist before hanging up. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and does speak to all current and potential patients that rudely.

I love Dr. Spurdon. I've been seeing her for 24 years and I am so thankful and grateful that she is still at the same office. She has delivered 2 of my 3 kids and took care of me when I experienced a miscarriage. She is one of the very best. My oldest daughter is 19 and is also a patient of Dr. Spurdon's.

Dr Spurdon was my second opinion when my previous dr suggested a procedure I didn't feel comfortable with. She listened & took my concerns into consideration. Between her & Dr Cipriano, they helped me tremendously. Dr Spurdon is now my permanent gyno. The office staff has been nothing but nice, easy to schedule & responds to messages through the portal in a timely manner.

I was disappointed in both Dr.Spurdon and the billing. In my opinion, the lack of care and follow through by Dr. S and her office is deplorable. Took a MONTH to get results back for a test. There is more but too much to get into. The office also did not appear clean to me. Billing was equally as bad. My insurance pays 100% for well women but they coded the visit wrong. Even after both calling and writing, I am still getting billed. I do not recommend Dr Spuron or the UHMD network. There appears to me to be zero accountability and I was not able to get anyone to help me.

I have been going to Dr. Spurdon for 14 years. She delivered both of my children. She is a blessing! I have had a couple health issues over the years and am grateful she was there to take care of me. As soon as she walks in you feel confident that your health is her top priority, which allows you to relax.

I definitely would not recommend her, she didn't fix my issues, she didn't want to do the surgery needed to fix my issues, brushed me off for a year ignoring the multiple e.r visits that recommended she did surgery. Finally changed ob & he scheduled my surgery during the 1st visit & gave me meds to stop bleeding instead of the multivitamin I was told to take while I continued bleeding with fatigue & pain smh

This woman made my life a living HELL! I thought I found a great OB. I had just moved here, & my husband and I got pregnant with our daughter. I have depression and anxiety, so our first meet, I had to talk with her back in her office. Well I brought my son with me because I had no choice, and apparently she didn't like how I disciplined him. SO SHE CALLED CPS on me! And she should be a damn actress because had my appointment after that and had no idea! She said that my son shut down when I corrected his behavior. Pretty sure your child should stop and shut down. Not only did she call on me, she straight up told lies that I was on drugs when I had my son. (She knew nothing about my pregnancy with him, as we were not in Texas) I know this all sounds made up, but I assure you it is. It's so sad that you go to a dr to help & they make up lies. And I couldn't do one thing about this. I'll give her this, she was nice. But it's an act. DONT TRUST THIS LADY

She’s been my doctor for almost 25 years. Dr Spurdon delivered my second child 24 years ago. I see her every year for my well woman and she’s always been pleasant and truly cares about my overall health. When she has run late with other patients she’s apologetic.
