Dr Thrash is perfect. During my latest skin screening she biopsied a spot which ended up being melanoma. She called me with the results on a Sunday afternoon and set me up with a dermatology surgeon. Friendly, professional, talented, reassuring and motivated to do the best she can for her patients. Mine ended up being in situ, “cured” following a procedure with the recommended surgeon.. Thanks, Dr Thrash!
I consulted Dr. Thrash for a scaly skin lesion as I have a history of basal cell carcinoma. She biopsied this area on my first visit. She was very professional and reassuring. I received the results within a few days and found out it was precancerous and treatable with liquid nitrogen topical therapy. This was done on the next visit and is now healed. Her office staff is friendly and very efficient. As a retired physician, I appreciated everything about her practice.
Highly recommend Dr. Thrash. Very attentive, detailed explanations, few minutes wait time, very pleasant staff.
went a few years ago to have a mole removed on my face. While I was there I pointed out to her a dark spot in the crease of my nose and told her that I had had it for a while and no matter what I tried I could not get rid of it. She told me it was nothing and she didn't even notice it until I pointed it out. She offered to "stitch it up for me". I declined. About a year later I went back to the same office to have another mole removed. She was no longer at the Chicago office so I saw her replacement. During the consultation for my visit the person interviewing me noticed the same spot in the crease of my nose and told me I should have it checked out. It turned out to be skin cancer. I had to go through seven hours of Mohs surgery to get all the cancer out since it had spread so much. I have a huge scar on my face. I guess I should be thankful that I didn't "stitch it up" like she suggested otherwise the assistant I saw when I went back would have never seen the cancer. Be careful...
I had my first appointment with Dr. Thrash in Austin (because that's where she's located now), and she was extremely helpful. I had a number of different skin problems and she seemed really attentive and genuinely interested in helping me out. At the end of the appointment she also gave me all of these rebate cards for the 5 different medications I was prescribed and they all really helped with the cost. I will probably go back to her.
Very nice personality. Removed a bad scar on my face caused by another surgeon. Now you can't even see it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
