Arthritis Knee Pain Centers's Online Review Report Card

Called the other day to confirm they take my insurance Aetna before I made the 1 hour drive to Bellaire. They said couldn’t confirm insurance but suggested I call Aetna myself. Called my Aetna Patient Advocate and not only did she confirm they and their in house Dr were In Network but also I had met my OOP limit and she assured me it would be totally 100% covered by Aetna. She even placed me on hold and called the Bellaire office to confirm! Great so I called and got next day free consultation visit. Did the ex rays, finished consultation with action plan, excited to start treatment, denied their knee braces and suddenly when confirming schedule lo and behold all of the sudden they don’t take Aetna! When asked why she said they never pay them and it falls back on the patient. Wanted me to pay up front! Wasted 4 hour round trip! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I went in with knee pain hoping to put off a knee replacement a little longer. Unfortunately the injections did not give me any relief.

I had higher expectations So Far the treatment has not gelped me at all I honestly feel it was a waste of money for me. It looks very promising on the TV commercials... .time will tell if those miracle injections work So far NO.

I initially went in with knee pain rated 4/10, but after receiving gel injections from Dr. Powel, my pain increased to 10/10, and I am now having difficulty walking. Unfortunately, Dr. Powel showed very little bedside manner and seemed more focused on administering the injections than addressing my concerns. I was told I had osteoarthritis in both knees, but after getting a second opinion from another orthopedic surgeon and a rheumatologist, both confirmed that I do not have osteoarthritis. The injections not only worsened my symptoms but also felt unnecessary, as they were based on a false diagnosis. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this clinic in Bellaire or Dr. Powel to anyone.

I’m just leaving the Arthritis Knee Pain Center for my fifth and last injection. My knee feels so much better (98% better)! My knee was bone on bone and after the first injection I felt a major difference. I'm so glad I got a second opinion and they were my second opinion! If you have a knee issue check them out. I'm telling you they are the truth! Arthritis Knee Pain Center is one of the few that uses a imaging machine while during the injection. And the doctor (Dr Alex Stock MD) is so easy to talk to and explain everything so thoroughly and understandable. The staff upfront and throughout the office are great. Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Definitely not as good as they boast about..and looking to make mega bucks off older folks new pain completed gel shots then they said I could come back for pain injection today October 9 @ 9:30 am Totally botched my appointment..1 thing why do you have to keep coming back as a new patient when you are not new to gain access to your Insurance honey... the they said I need a referral that's funny because when you accepted Me because of my insurance Solely before nothing was ever Said before about A referral Or a co.. pay because I have Dual advantage insurance I don't Pay ...so all this because You wanna seal the deal on insurance benefits and double bill me for 234.00 ?..because New inexperienced workers Are there now I told insurance How you made an estimate.. For something that insurance Covers completely then I asked about the estimate and the man could not even tell me What the 234.00 dollars was charged for..skip this place and go back to your doctor's place Orthopedic physical therapist Where they won't make you sit in pain for 4 hour's and then show you an estimate for something that's fully covered On my insurance I hope you don't bill my insurance because You don't even deserve to be paid not even for the botched consultation and the botched estimate

Great alternative to knee surgery has worked well for me and I am bone on bone osteoarthritis!! Highly recommend!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great group of people it works great

Pain became so bad but as I began my treatment it lessened each visit and now am pain free

Honestly a great experience with a very professional and caring staff , they really are amazing and make you feel relaxed and cared for , thank you and it’s finally good to have NO pain !!!!
