Charles D. Brodrick's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Brodrick cares for my elderly mother's macular degeneration and has done an excellent job of preserving her eyesight! I cannot emphasize enough how important his care has been to her quality of life. Sometimes there is a significant wait time before they call us back. I understand this and I am absolutely fine with it! You cannot put a time limit on preserving something as priceless as your vision! Be patient and be grateful for what he can do for you - it is worth the wait to get outstanding care, and I am confident that he and his staff are doing the best they can with lots of complex patients.

Dr. Broderick has done miracles with my eyes. I have significant diabetic disease leading to degeneration of my eyesight. I lost one eye, but he has saved the remaining eye and restored vision in it. He and his staff are all caring and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Broderick and his staff if you have any vision issues.

Have known Dr. Brodrick for several years. He always answers all questions where I can understand. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Excellent surgery to restore detached retina. Excellent rehab advice and followup exams. Five years with restored vision near 20 20 at 70 plus years of age. Words cannot express the deep appreciation I have for his expertise and dedication to helping me retain my vision at the highest level possible.

Horrible patient service. Lots of waiting for elderly diabetic patients. Dr does not like to be questioned and speaks down to people. Very unprofessional.

Money cannot pay the fact that he saved my eyesight. I will be eternally grateful to Dr Brodrick I don’t have the right words to describe my most sincere gratitude to Dr Brodrick M.D.Ophthalmologist for the delicate and successfully surgery he conducted on my Detached Retina. I arrived at his office late afternoon and his attentive staff took me to Dr Brodrick office and promptly he examined my eye and said I needed an immediate operation. He personally called the hospital to reserve a room and called his nurse assistant to perform my surgery. In less than fifteen hours he performed the delicate operation I needed. From there on Dr Brodrick wanted you see my progress every week and provided me with instructions to get my complete vision back. I see him every six months and he checks my eye. Very thorough and. He will explain situation if you ask. Like any Dr office you occasionally will have a wait. Emergency s happen and some require immediate response. It's your eyes and he is the expert. I have been seeing him for several years and am pleased with him and the office staff.

I will preface my review of Dr. Charles Brodrick, M.D. by saying that I worked for a CEO forty years ago who stated, “I was a hard man to please”. addition to original review: I was sent an attorney's letter demanding I remove my review. Surgery was fine. Original review:Many things were not communicated or poorly communicated (eg, my question about recovery, which to the doctor meant "when will the bandages come off". not "when will I be able to see out of my eye again"). Before I went in for a follow-up exam from surgery, I asked what protective measures they were taking for Covid-19. Was told everyone was wearing masks. But, the doctor TOOK OFF HIS MASK DURING MY EXAM! With me 3 inches from his face. Their billing practices are questionable and arbitrary. I'm told one thing, when I dispute that, they claim they never said it and something else is the reason I am being charged what I'm being charged. Procedures that I was told were included in the surgery (eg, follow-up appointments), I'm now receiving bills for and when i question it am told that this was "special testing", in spite it being the test they did every single time

I have been a patient of Dr Brodrick for about three years. I was referred by my ophthamologist. I was impressed with his knowledge and skill in treating my diagnosis. His staff has always been courteous and kind. The business office helped me navigate through the requirements of my insurance to obtain prior authorization by supplying additional information needed. Because of their help I was able to receive treatment quickly. I would definitely recommend Dr Brodrick to anyone.
