Fyzical Therapy & Balance Centers's Online Review Report Card

With the very consistent and challenging PT plan devised by Dr Danny and his excellent team, I have come such a very long way!   Over a year ago I fell off a ladder and broke my leg right at the kneecap.     It was a horrendous injury that required 2 surgeries involving 5 metal screws and a metal plate just to piece my leg and knee back together.  9 months of in-office PT followed along with strenuous at-home exercises.  My surgeon told me that I would never be a runner ‍ again and I was prepared for that bad news.  I absolutely WASN'T prepared to find out that even walking might be a challenge (with the remote possibility that I might be on crutches for the rest of my life).  That was a Bad Day.  After some intense woe-is-me self-talk, I snapped out of it  and decided: "NO!  That will *** NOT *** be my story!"  I made a goal of not only being able to walk again but to walk a 13.1 mile Half-Marathon!   Whaaaat??!!       Coach Kim divided my goal into 4 different segments over 4 different days with a more challenging time and distance goal for each one as I completed each segment.  It was an incredibly proud day for me when I recently COMPLETED THAT GOAL!  15:13 average pace per mile.  Not too bad for a non-runner with a leg still held together with pins and a prayer (that wouldn't even bend a year ago!)My former Running Group surprised me by meeting me at the starting line for the last and final segment.  They let me set the pace, and I finished the last leg-- (no pun intended...)     with them staying right behind me and cheering me on.  GOOD TEARS!    Being with my group was just like the old days!!    I had to earn my HM medal, racing shirt, and commemorative wine glass the hard way!   Look at that medal!      It is so obnoxiously large, nostalgic, colorful, and in-your-face!   It was the perfect motivation for me.  My next goal is to do another HM but divide it into 3 segments.  Then 2... with the Grand Poohba goal event to do it all in ONE continuous, end-to-end distance!A year ago I absolutely did NOT think this would even be remotely possible. Count me as one of Dr Danny's many success stories.

Thank you Danny and all your team! This is an extremely professional group of very knowledgeable therapists and assistants. I have has several injuries and have come through PT without pain and returned to my normal  mobility and to my usual activities which include strenuous exercise. I quickly refer Fizycal to anyone who needs physical therapy.

My mom was getting physical therapy there and was extremely sick one morning so she called to cancel. They told her that she needed to come in or she would be charged a fee. I guess they'd rather her come in and make everyone else sick. Doesn't seem like good practice during covid.

I am writing this review with very mixed feelings, in 2017 i had a knee surgery and if i would have to rate them by then i will have given then 5 stars. Well this time the situation was a little different. I been having shoulder pain for a while so i went to my ortho and personally requested to be sent to this location, When schedule the appointment a Lady name Juanita (a receptionist)  was very rude over the phone with me. In the past I've always worked with Theresa she knows me very well and she is the sweetest. Well i scheduled the appointment and went there on 11/17 the day i went there i was like ok i am giving this Juanita person a break to see if the day i called to schedule the appointment she was just having a bad day, well guess what SHE WAS MORE RUDE in person than over the phone, on top of that she was asking me to pay a ridiculous amount of money that when i called to BCBS they say i did not have to pay them. Fast forward i had my consultation and i saw Danny who helped me recovered of my knee back in 2017 i expressed to him that the new front lady was very rude to me and that when you have people like that in such amazing place it can hurt your business. Because i know all these people and they are all very nice.I was also planning on going back for my follow up appointment on 11/25 but because i didn't want to deal with the Juanita lady i called and cancelled the follow up appointment, she again picked up the phone in a very rude way but she did not cancelled my appointment so they ended up charging me 30.00 for a non show when i did call to cancel my appointment over the phone with her, i guess she forgot to cancel it but i am the one who have to pay the 30.00 non show feeI called this morning because they sent me a bill that i had to pay 70.00 = 25 of what my insurance didn't covered, +15 of some bands that I did ask for them and thought they gave it for free+ 30 non show that i called Juanita and she didn't cancelled.To my point, this place have the greatest therapists and doctors they even have a great receptionist (Theresa) but 1 bad apple make your whole place looks like crap. Unfortunately I wont be going to this place because i do not like to deal with people like Juanita we all deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and she is not a good example of neither of those. I will pay my 70 so they will gain some money out of me but never again....

After hitting a plateau at another PT facility, I had a consultation with a highly respected Neurologist. He recommended Dr. Danny Kasprowicz at FYZICAL Therapy in Boerne. Danny took one look at my MRI and said he knew exactly what to do. The custom plan he developed was followed throughout my treatment. He and his amazing staff are friendly, caring and truly work together as a team. They also have the latest equipment to make sure you achieve the best results in a clean and pleasant environment. It is well worth the short highway drive from San Antonio and they consistently run on schedule. Thank you for an amazing experience.
