Very clean and COVID organized office, the staff is excellent!
My mother went to him after an eye trauma and he failed to diagnose correctly what in fact was a detached retina on the right eye on the first visit, he asked for a follow up visit a week after to see if the trauma healed but it did not as her vision worsened. He injected her eye with Avastin and asked for a 5 week follow up. At the 5 week follow up there was no improvement and my mother clearly mentioned to him her vision recently extremely worsened two days back to a point she couldn't see anything. All he did was apply a second injection without checking the possibility of a retinal detachment. Worried my mother went to get a second opinion and she was urgently referred to a retina specialist. They confirmed she had chronical retinal detachment (estimate 5 weeks) and she is now at risk of losing not only her sight but the eye too. Do not see this doctor, he does not care and is only interested in dispatching hundreds of patients a day without providing the proper care and attention. NEGLIGENCE

Very dissatisfied with this clinic. Sarcasm by surgeon at time of consult was unnecessary and inappropriate while stressed about an upcoming surgery and the expense. Surgeon implied I had plenty of money. He literally said, "oh you make lots of money, you can afford it". $1,800.00 for each eye? Yeah, I don't have "plenty of money" Dr. Sudarshan. Needless to say, I went elsewhere. Staff was friendly and place was clean, I was just disappointed with Dr. Sudarshan for being rushed, sarcastic and unprofessional.
Went to see him about 15 years ago for eye surgery. He was very informative, helpful, a wonderful doctor. Great follow-up visit. My surgery went well with minimal scarring. Highly recommend him. (I had a tumor under my left eye that was removed) Araceli Ledezma Weslaco TX
He only sees patients before he does surgery on them. After surgery, it’s almost impossible to make an appointment with him, even when there is pain or recovery is not as planned. Office personnel always make excuses saying that he is performing surgeries, yet when he is trying to convince someone to have surgery, he is miraculously available. After surgery, the patients become the optometrist’s problem.
Very personable, but no visit before nor in recovery. Had eyelid lift, which he recommended. Think that's his main gig. Initially went to see him about vision issues. During procedure he talked to nurses entire time about music, etc. Never saw him again; follow ups only with his PAs. Was last of the morning which may account for the incisions being uneven so one is higher than other. Fortunately glasses hide this. Would not recommend him for this procedure.
I had a mild eye condition (amblyopia), that Doctor Sudarshan corrected . I had no idea how bad my condition was until after the operation. I've noticed significant improvement, thanks to Doctor Sudarshan. I'm completely satifyed and recommend his services.
I believed this is a great office. I had a great experience and felt comfortable and well cared for in this office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
