I’m so sorry to Dr. Moncada because he’s such a sweet man but he has the worst staff I’ve ever met, we found out my father has cancer and his staff was in charge of making the appointment to see a specialist and they didn’t make the appointment and gave us the wrong information and it’s very frustrating. Sir if you’re reading this please get rid of the lady in the front who never helps out anyone and closes the windows on everyone to tried to ask a question.

Terrible doctor. Stay Away from Dr. Moncada and Valley Regional. He is a Despicable, Incompetent, Careless and a Horrible Human. Seems like he doesn't care about anyone except money. He made me suffer while I was in excruciating pain. I Went to the ER twice this weekend when he was the surgeon in charge. I had gall stones, an infection in my gall bladder and my blood pressure was over 200 the 2 times I went to the ER. He refused to admit me into the hospital until I went to his office for a paid consultation on Tuesday. The ER doctors told me he stated it wasn’t a serious or urgent issue, yet they prescribed me opioids to deal with the pain I was suffering from. The two doctors in the ER told me that they had strongly pushed for me to get admitted he refused each time. I came to Valley Baptist medical center to the ER and was admitted immediately. Stay away from Dr Moncada and Valley Regional at all costs. Your life might depend on it.

Terrible Doctor. Went to the ER twice with Gall Stones, Gallstone Infection, and Blood Pressure over 200 on Saturday and Sunday. ER doctors told me, that Dr. Moncada (surgeon in charge) he would not do anything until I see him at his office on Tuesday.. So He refused to admit into a room to treat me unless I paid him for a consultation on Tuesday. He Basically left me for dead. Came to Valley Baptist and they treated me immediately since it was a medical emergency. If I would’ve waited like he wanted, I could have died or suffered more serious health complications.

Does not take patients that don't have insurance.

All i can say is that in the office everybody is very professional and nice

I recently had my gallbladder removed through a laparoscopic cholecystectomy with no complications. I was able to recover very quickly. I really appreciate that care of the doctor. He took his time to explain what procedure was going to be done on me. That is the reason I put my trust on him. The day of the operation is the day in which one appreciates the hard work and effort a surgeon goes through. I definitely recommend him.

I had the pleasure to be seen by a great Doctor and his staff they did a great job on putting up with this Vietnam veteran I recommend this Doctor and his staff any day to all of you thank you so much I feel good and improved every day always Eddie Herrera

Doctor and staff are very caring. Dr. Moncada is very personable. Short waiting time in office. Procedure went just as he described, staff followed up with me day after surgery to make sure everything was going well.

Did not like the staff, they were in such a hurry. My husband went in for a consult about his gallbladder, Dr. Moncada barely checked him and scheduled him for surgery the following week even after my husband told him he could not have the surgery that soon. Needless to say we got a second opinion and surgery was not required and he has been doing well. TG!

Just had surgery done by Dr. Moncada. Excellent service. During the consultation, he listened to my concerns and provided good details about what was happening and why I needed the surgery. He listened to my concerns and he took the time to answer all my questions. I didn't feel rushed to get out so he could see the next patient. Before and after the surgery, the doctor personally checked up on me at the hospital.
