This surgeon performed a hip replacement on me. My major complaint is that he dismissed my complaints about a “pop” and severe pain three weeks after surgery. He did not appropriately investigate the cause of my symptoms. Instead, he continued to dismiss my concerns that I couldn't walk properly and just kept telling me that it was “normal”, and I should “just keep walking”. I finally consulted another orthopedist (four months after surgery) who immediately recognized my symptoms were likely the result of a glut medius tendon tear and recommended I request an MRI. The MRI confirmed it, but the damage had already been done. Seabolt’s failure to respond in a timely manner led to permanent nerve damage and complete atrophy of my glut medius muscle. As a result, I will have an unstable gait for the rest of my life. The kicker is, he never told me the truth that my muscle was completely atrophied. I learned that from another orthopedist whom I consulted after a year of no improvement.

Dr. Seabolt just did a clavicle nonunion repair for me. I had surgery a year ago and the previous surgeon put one of the screws in between the broken bones. As a result the bone didn’t fuse. It was causing a lot of pain so I had went in to see the surgeon about having the plate removed . That’s when I found out it was still broke and It was plain to see from the x-ray that the screw had interfered. So as one can imagine, I was skeptical about letting the same surgeon fix it. Dr. Seabolt came highly recommended from a good friend and neighbor that is in the medical field. I made an appointment to go in and see Dr. Seabolt instead. He made me feel at ease about the situation by explaining in detail what he felt needed to be done. It brought relief to my concerns and devastation. The staff scheduled the surgery right away. He did an amazing job!!! Not only is the plate and fixation more flattering to look at, the incision scar is not near as unsightly as the previous one was. He has a lot of experience and I feel I made a wise choice choosing Dr. Seabolt to do the surgery. I am now pain-free!!

I have co-workers that had the same total hip replacement I had with excellent results, using Doctor Seabolt. Great Staff and very professional. Highly recommended for total hip replacement.
