List of Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospital Burleson's Reviews
If You have Covid, don't go here!!! Rude nurses, with attitudes to make Florence Nightingale rollover in the grave. Even had to file a complaint with the Nurse Manager. Go to a bigger better hospital which is anywhere but here. The nurse behavior caused my wife who was battling Covid and Pneumonia at the same time go into a full blown panic attack causing her to drop even more oxygen levels to a knocking on deaths door situation. If I could give a negative star I would, you have a common thing like getting stitches it's probably fine. Other than that don't pass go and screw the $200...
Horrible experience with my son. Staff was rude except 2 people who were compassionate . Doctor was just mean and rude and dismissive. When questions were asked he would not answer or tell me my son is 18 he needs to figure it out himself. I was treated as if I was a problem that he didn't have time for. Although he made sure to say not his hospital or problem when I questioned him on meds because this ear issue has been over a week and not better. We did go a week before different doctor and he was wonderful.

I went to Baylor Scott and White ER with heart rate issues and chest pain. IMMEDIATELY taken to an observation room for an EKG. Afib with the quick diagnosis. Kept overnight to get heart rhythm back into place. EXCELLENT care. My follow-up calls to secure records for my heart specialist were handled immediately and professionally. I hope I don't ever have another need, but if I do I will go to this facility!!!!
My experience with this facility was not good at all. I was hospitalized for a large kidney stone, they tried to flush it out with high volume IV fluids including large boluses of fluid daily.....I was finally transferred on day 4 or 5, I had so much fluid overload that I had to be on oxygen and was so swollen I could not sign my name. The EMT's and nurses at the other facility could only say, "oh my God." I had fluid in both lungs, around my heart, and spent a week in the hospital. I have spoken with the physician over their medical department and he stated I received adequate care. I left there so much sicker than when I came in and they do not see a need to change their protocol on treatment of kidney stones. I was transferred to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Fort Worth and received the proper treatment.
If you are an average income person, do not come to this emergency hospital. You probably won't be able to afford it and will have to go into debt to pay your bill. My visit was over $7100.00 with over $4000.00 of that amount in lab charges alone. That didn't even include the almost $1100.00 for just the physician fee. Even with good insurance I was left owing over $1700.00. Mine was not a critical visit. Chest X-rays, blood work and urine sample. They insisted on an IV, which I felt I didn't need. Also an ECG. Would not go there again, nor recommend to anyone else, unless you are wealthy.
I must be the only one of these people that had a great experience ! Staff was awesome. Did every test known to man. See a lot of complaints about pricing... sorry but if you're in bad enough shape- does it really matter... nope ! Place was spotless and they treated me very well and would recommend to anyone. Thanks Baylor Burleson !
if I could I would give 0 stars bc this place is careless! no care what so ever for their patients. my husband was in pain and asked for pain medication as little as Ibuprofen and they said he don't need it!! they took 1 1/2 to come in a do stitches but yet had no one there not busy at all? and when we leave there all just sitting down chatting and laughing it up! never again
I don't recommend this facility to anyone my wife was seen because her back was hurting so bad. She was laying on her right side facing the window and the doctor came in and started pushing hard on her back. And my wife was screaming bloody murder and crying and my mom got feed up with it and told he doctor to stop. Then they where just going to send her home and not do anything else so we made them do a ct scan. They told us she just had herniated disk and they couldn't give her any medicine. We took her to the doctor which gave her high dosage pain meds. Then he sent her to a back doctor and she has to have back surgery next month for her L5 S1 nerve because it's calcified. And the doctor said that he doesn't know where they saw herniated disk because other than that one problem her spine looks great. So I worn you now don't go here.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
