Remarkable Healthcare's Online Review Report Card

My grandpa with late stage dementia was confused so he left the room ONE TIME. The director then proceded to label him as a "wanderer" to other hospitals. It has been very hard to find him a new place to live since. Do not send a late dementia patient here as they might leave the room just one time and be kicked out of this place.

Is this place even open? From the outside it looks abandoned. Parking lot is usually empty, the landscaping is a mess and lots of trash

Everyone has their own personal experience, but let me share mine. My mother has been very well taken care of, loved on, and kept as happy as possible in a very difficult situation and in poor health. Multiple staff members have loved on my mother and treated her like family, and she can be a difficult patient, let me tell you. As she’s nearing the end of her life, I am blessed by the compassion of so many people in the facility who loved her and supported me, as well.

Remarkable Healthcare of Prestonwood provided the most caring and professional service for our family and more specifically my father this past week during his last hours on this earth. My dad was discharged from a local hospital. Extremely ill from Covid-19, he was 93 years old and in really pretty good shape before he became infected with the covid-19 in a Lewisville assisted living facility. Our family could not have ask for a more caring, kinder and thoughtful team of professional nurses and RN’s.They kept my father comfortable every moment of his waining hours of life. The staff and the hospice team supported our family and my dad’s physical and emotional needs in the most caring, professional and thoughtful manner humanly possible. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts and highly recommend them.REPLY:Patricia, By the grace of God my brother and I were able to mask up with a complete set of personal protective equipment gloves, robes, etc. and be by my fathers side while he was under the care of the most sincere team of staff ever encountered in my entire life ( I am 69 years old). I speak and share my story from first hand personal experience. Thank God and the staff of Remarkable Healthcare.PS: Patricia, I am so very sorry for your loss.

This place should be renamed “Unremarkable”

I'm staying here right now and it's a great facility great staff I'm glad I'm staying here the staff are attentive handling any situation.I would recommend this place to others.they are a clean facility,the food is good,they have wonderful activities for everyone.I would give it more stars but they only allow you to choose 5.so if your looking for a home for your loved one this is the place 😀want to add that I want to give a shout out to all staff here at Remarkable Healthcare for everything they do I'm grateful for this place and the staff are always working to make our stay here comfortable thank you so much.

I could not be more frustrated with the communication process at this place. My mother (94) has been in the facility for over 10 days following a 4 day hospital visit for COVID-19 and recovering (mild care & early intervention).I've never been contacted by anyone here after admission. YOU must be the one to call and pull out any information.By the way, no room phones in patient rooms.Case management seems to take a cookie-cutter approach. Fourteen days.Respectfully, I don't know how Raymond (previous review) could know how their loved one was really cared for since no one is allowed to visit or see their loved one in the COVID area.Nurses have a hard job without a doubt, but there needs to be some better communication and patient advocate for updates to family!If you have to be here for COVID recovery, ask for an exterior room so you might have a chance to do a window visit. No such luck for us.

Staff here is very nice. Beautiful building with no foul smells.
