Usmd's Online Review Report Card

My wife sees Dr. Joy Yun at this location.  Dr. Yun is a great doctor - professional and caring. The other staff are polite and efficient.I don't understand the other negative reviews posted for this clinic? Maybe they had an unusual experience.  My wife has been to this clinic 4-5 times without any bad experiences.  A few times for urgent care and they were able to get her in to see the doctor with little notice..

I was able to get in same day that I called to schedule. I was very sick and needed care ASAP! Dr. Yun and her MA were personable and made me feel comfortable! I didn't have to wait long either! The only reason 5 stars wasn't given was because I actually had strep throat and became very frustrated with the woman who scheduled my appointment over the phone. I also work in healthcare and being that I could barely speak, I felt like most of the questions she was asking me could of waited until I got to the facility. It took over 15 minutes to schedule my appointment. Dr. Yun saved the day for me and I feel like she's an asset to this practice. I would not be going back if it wasn't for her!

I received a letter from USMD introducing me to one of the doctors, identifying her as my new PCP and requesting that I call for an appointment.  After making an appointment, I received a number of phone calls from USMD, three to move my appointment and then finally confirming my appointment.  I checked in for my appointment and was directed upstairs to fill out the paperwork.  I was then told to go back downstairs as someone was waiting to talk to me.  The most unprofessional person said "the doctor does not want to see you".  I asked if the doctor did not want to see me today or did not want to see me at all.  She responded "the doctor does not want to see you at all."  I gave her a copy of the letter I received from USMD and then ask if she could tell me why the doctor did not want to see me.  After reading the letter, she finally told me that the doctor was not accepting new patients except those that qualified for the Senior Care program.  She finally admitted that USMD had made a series of mistakes regarding my file.  Even though they had my birth date and they had sent me a letter indicating I would be part of the Senior Care program, they decided that I would not be seen by the doctor because they didn't identify me as eligible for Senior Care. I have never been treated so poorly.  It is bad enough that the staff is so incompetent but the way she treated me is totally unacceptable.  They may have some good doctors on staff but I will never know because I would not consider seeing one after the way I was treated.

This place is beyond garbage.They didn't see me until nearly an hour and a half after my appointment time. I saw the doctor for about 2 minutes, and he told me to go somewhere else.
