Friday July 16 2021. After colonoscopy I woke up to swollen lips, maybe from biting myself? and nurse gave me an ice pack. No one notified bf I discharged. Now Sunday July 18, am at ER cause when coughing my ribs, back and neck hurt.

She administered my procedure quickly, I felt no pain, and she had a great bedside manner! Dr. Cao was very easy to talk to and answered every one of my questions thoroughly.

I have just updated my rating from a 4 to a 5 because Dr. Cao has gone above & beyond!!! Dr. Cao contacted me by mychart yesterday and said that her RX vendor had stopped by. She told the rep about my issue and the rep gave her a 2 week supply to give to me...for free! I couldn't believe how thoughtful this Dr. Is that she remembered I had this issue & then told her rep. I've never had a Dr. take the time to do this. I'm seriously amazed! Dr. Cao really cares about her patients. Not only did she save my health because there is no way I could afford those meds on my own, but she provided excellent care and now I am so grateful and highly recommend her to anyone who wants a caring Dr.! I have explained my medical issues below for full background. About a month ago my insurance denied the SIBO meds and these cost around $1000 for a 2 week supply. I was told to control with diet which is almost impossible when the bacteria is already present. I took these meds 2 years ago with a different insurance carrier and I felt better for over 2 years. A year ago I left a bad review about PA Jessica. Since then I have returned to Dr. Cao's office and the experience was completely different. Jessica is no longer there and Shannon is very nice and explained everything. I ended up having an upper EGD and colonoscopy at Oakwood Surgery center. Everyone was very nice and Dr. Cao is great! She took the time to explain about the procedure and changing my diet. So I have decided to update my original review since Google won't allow me to do a new review. Much more positive experience this time.

Dr. Weiwei Cao is the most professional doctor I have ever met. She is not only super professional at the treatment, but also very warm-heart and detail oriented. You will feel very confortable before the treatment and confident after it. I'd strongly recommend her to all the people who needs to see a gastroenterologist. Thank you, Dr. Cao, you are the best!

Dr. Cao is super experienced and very considerable. The whole process of the procedure and follow up treatments were very smooth, and far more better than expected. I was fully covered the next day. Great appreciation to Dr. Cao, her nurse lady and other office staffs. Dr. Cao is incredible and I strong recommend her to people who needs colonoscopy.

Dr. Cao is knowledgeable, skilled and professional. I have had a colonoscopy by Dr. Cao , three days ago at Cedar park. I was taken good care by Dr. Cao, her team and hospital staff. I felt very comfortable and confident of knowing I was in good hands. I feel great after the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Cao!!!!!
