If you are unlucky enough to be assigned this incredibly rude human, you drew a short stick. This physician hates his job & hates talking to parents.You would never meet Dr. Banks and actually choose him to care for your innocent child. He is bold, abrupt, rude and unapologetic. Esp, if he walks into the wrong patient room, and asks if he is sampling an organ that was not even on the list of things to do! The staff tip toes around him, fearful. His very presence in a room made my child uncomfortable. There is no point in hiring ancillary staff to make the visit an enjoyable one if the physician has the WORST beside manner. You don't have a choice when picking an interventional radiologist, you get assigned, ask who you have! He should give it to someone else. He may have exp. but it doesn't give the right to treat others poorly. You won't feel good about the encounter and wonder.Dell is stuck with him and has no choice since he is a senior MD at Austin Rad Assoc. & contract labor.
