I had my knee ACL fixed by Dr. Veazey in 2006 and then again in 2007 both times I ended up with a torn ACL again several months later. I gave up and decided not to get it repaired any more until last year (2018) when I gave it a chance with a different Dr. in Austin, TX . That’s when I was informed by my new doctor that the previous surgery was not performed correctly since the tunnel that was made in the bone to accommodate the new ligament was not in the right position. Now I understand why I never felt completely recovered after those surgeries even after physical therapy. My new Dr. had to fill out the old tunnel with bone and wait three months for it to solidify in order to correctly repair my ACL. I could tell the difference immediately, I was able to complete my physical therapy easily and after one year my knee feel really strong to the point that I can do things that I never thought I would be able to do again like play basketball or do CrossFit training. I know this was a long time ago and I just hope they improved their practice sinceI lost about ten years not being able to play sports thinking that simply my knee was not strong enough to be fixed.
Dr Veazey performed a total right hip replacement on me. Best decision I ever made.it is so nice to be able to go to work now pain free.
Dr Veazey repaired my severely broken elbow 4 years ago on Christmas Day and last year removed screws and plate with bursa sac removal. Very good communicator, professional and kind. Staff was also very kind and always helpful. I found out later my MD friends have much respect for him. Highly recommend.
We cannot recommend any doctor higher than Dr. Veazey. My husband and I both have extensive arthritis, and he has operated on shoulders, hips, and knees, all with great, pain-free results. We continue to be so grateful for his expertise and gracious manner and spirit.
Doctor Veazey is a very good Doctor. He explans things very well and cares about the patient. He does not do surgery on you unless it is his last choice to do so.
Dr. Veazey is an exceptional doc and even better human.
Dr. Veazey has been my orthopedic doctor of choice for many years. He's done two knee replacements for me and has generally kept me walking. I worked in a hospital where he performed surgery and was able to know that his surgical techniques are some of the best I've ever heard of. He is a conservative doctor and does not just operate as quickly as possible. He takes the time to find out exactly what's wrong.
Excellent Physician, would highly recommend. I had THR in July 2018. Best decision I ever made. Wonderful staff......... Thumbs-up to Dr. Veasey, his staff and CHI-St. Joseph Hospital.
BEWARE! I came in with a broken Clavical. I already had referral from an ER physician stating I needed surgery. First words out of Veazey’s mouth was why are you on medicare?!! Umm yes I’m loosing my sight. Then he starts talking about opioid crisis in America and how Walmart doesn’t even sell them anymore(wrong I called). Basically judged my care based on his belief that I’m a young guy that is on disability..lucky for me I was able to find a better more caring dr within minutes of leaving this quacks office. I had surgery the very next day and I am healing fine. I believe this dr may need a drug screen.
Dr. Veazey and his staff are very professional. They listened to and helped me to get out of pain. I have and would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
