When I had my first appointment I became very upset after waiting almost two hours. The staff tried to reassure me that he was not in the office but that he seeing patients and he would see me as soon as possible. I voiced my complaints and he said he had to see patients at the hospital but that he was here now. So we moved on. He ended up spending over an hour with me. By the time I left I felt very confident with him and his work as a caring doctor that knew what he was talking about. He had even reviewed my medicines and some of my history as to why I was referred to him before he saw me. Yes, I have learned to wait, to bring something to occupy my time, to not make my appointments too early in the morning or too late in the afternoon. He has now been my doctor for several years. My husband also is a patient of Dr. Lechin's. We are very pleased with the care we receive from him and feel the wait is worth it. His nurse Mary is always ready to help in anyway she can and his two P.A.s are also very attentive and caring. The quality care we receive from Dr. Lechin and his staff is is very exemplary in all ways.

This doctor completely missed diagnosing my Postorthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). I went to him after I was rushed to the ER after having palpitations and fainted. Was told it was “anxiety” by the ER but was referred to Dr. Lechin. He ordered a stress ECG and a 24-monitor which he claimed both came back normal. Then he just said “your potassium is low” as an explanation for my symptoms though it was within normally ranges. He put me on potassium tablets and my symptoms never improved and I ended up just living with my symptoms. It took me years later to go to another cardiologist who instantly suspected POTS and ordered immediate testing. They ordered the same tests as Dr Lechin and within minutes of looking at the results told me they were shocked that I was functioning at all given that I was in tachycardia almost every hour around the clock. How Dr. Lechin missed it, I will never understand.

He is the best doctor I’ve ever meet. He takes care of more than just the heart. He is the most caring doctor you will ever come to find. Saved me from near death in 2017 and I’m on a healthier track now. Had gone to several other doctors and was miss diagnosed. Thank God someone told me about him.

Dr. Lechin has been our family doctor for around 8 years. He has treated my daughter since the age of 14 when she was diagnosed with severe cardiovascular condition, she is 22 now and in very good condition with his care. He has treated mostly everyone in my family and he is always willingly to help and is actively caring for us. He is an excellent doctor who is very knowledgeable in his field. He is also very trustworthy and very involved in the care of his patients. He treats 5 people in my family and we are all so pleased with his care and how much he has done for our family. We really recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Lechin is the utmost caring doctor I have ever met. You may wait seeing him but the reason is Lechin spends as much time as needed reviewing your case going over it with you. He is more thorough than any doctor I know. He has the utmost respect with his patients. My husband sees him. I take my mother to every appointment. Lechin is an amazing thinker. Outstanding! Intelligence beyond measure!

I was referred by my primary. I have episodes of discomfort, not everyday. This Dr ordered a halter monitor for 24hr recording only. When I shared my concerns that it wasn't enough time I was informed they would speak with the Dr. And give me a call back before my 1st appointment. That never happened. Just like the first time of the refered I had to contact the office only to be told they transcribed the contact number incorrect. They never thought to reach out to my primary to verify the number.Long story short I felt it necessary to cancel with this Dr., contact my primary to find another. For God sakes it's my heart.

Waits were incredible and always felt he didnt give any thought to my care until I was in his exam room. I asked for my test results to get a second opinion and was charged for them and told not to come back. No probem, so glad I moved on.

Takes all the time needed to research the issue and come up with a solution. Is very knowledgeable about Medications, even for diabetes. His PA is also very thorough and knowledgeable as well. He saved my life, no doubt about it. When he sees you, he cares and answers all your questions.

Dr. Lechin is a wonderful physician, he is caring, very involved in my care not only when I see him at the office but any time I need him for any issues (cardiac and non cardiac related). He is very knowledgeable and always tries to address all my issues any time I see him. He truly takes care of the whole individual.
