Today, I had the best experience with the tech named miss. Lauren! From now on when going to urban optics I will ask for her to be my tech, don’t care if I have to wait longer. Thank u so much, her energy, knowledge, and attentiveness was amazing!! She needs a raise for sure. Btw been going here for at least 14 years… in the whole time, today was the best experience!

I needed to find an optometrist to use once I started college. Urban Optics was super friendly, professional, and helped me with exactly what I needed. I will definitely be using them from now on.

WOW!! What an experience..... I could never have asked for a such a wonder experience. Being the first time to the optometrist. They calmed my fears and were extremely knowledgeable. Lauren B was very informative of my choices and options and was wonderful while helping me pick out frames out of the huge inventory they have in stock. I would recommend Urban-Optics to everyone. I am very happy with the service I have received at Urban Optics. Every time I have gone in with an issue, they have been more than happy to help solve the problem. Even going so far as to order new glasses because of a frame issue. They have a very nice frame selection as well.

I love Dr. Greene and all of his staff! They are extremely helpful, polite and considerate. I have been seeing him since 2013. They have a great selection of glasses and the staff was so helpful and patient with me when I purchased glasses. They are a little expensiv, but I don't buy new glasses often.

Urban Optics has always been responsive to my needs - prior to, during, and after my appointments. I am always impressed by the new technology they employ to provide the best examinations to their clients. This provides me with comfort and assurance that my family and I receive the most cutting edge and thorough examinations possible. Dr. Greene's staff is very helpful. I’ve seen the same optometrist for 20+ years. Being new to the area, I was in need of a new doctor.I called several providers and was so impressed with the level of customer service provided by Logan during our call that I choose Urban Optics. I thought if Logan was any indication of the care I would receive it had to be the right choice. I was correct!Jenna was my tech. She was professional, pleasant, thorough with questions and quick to listen…and she is an ace in choosing the right glasses for a patient!I researched the doctors and was a tad concerned when I was scheduled to see the youngest doctor on staff as I was certain I had new issues other than just poor vision Dr. McClain put those concerns to rest quickly! He was attentive, inquisitive, has a warm personality and the perfect chair-side manner. He took the time to explain my eye health, next steps in testing and answered my questions without ever making me feel rushed. He certainly changed my thoughts about being the youngest on staff (sorry Dr. McClain)! I was left with the impression of a very confident doctor with the latest and greatest education and technology to take care of my eyes!Their facility is clean and appealing with a vast selection of eyewear and the entire staff was welcoming and pleasant. I could not be more impressed as a new patient!!!I’ve written very few reviews in my life…very few. Urban Optics provided exemplary service from start to finish! So much so that ending the day without a review was not an option. They do not disappoint and I would highly recommend them! Many thanks to Logan, Jenna and Dr. McClain!-Update- *Urban Optics is closed on the weekends* I left a voicemail for Dr. McClain Saturday afternoon to advise there were significant overnight changes in my eyesight. He returned my call in 17 minutes and told me to meet him at his office so he could do a quick test. He dropped everything on a Saturday afternoon to go open his office up and assess the sight of a brand new patient! He performed several test…not just one. He was past thorough and once again, took the time to explain everything.While the outcome was less than positive, his delivery of that news was perfect. I am concerned with my eyesight/changes. However, I have zero doubt that Dr. McClain is on top of things and will guide me through steps to achieve the best results.There is no way I would have received this level of care in Houston!! NEVER. I would have ended up in an ER facility and been sent home with the standard referral slip.Dr. McClain is exceptional!! I don’t believe I could have landed in better hands to care for my sight. I cannot recommend him enough and there aren’t enough stars on google reviews to rate the level of care he provided today! If your looking for a new optometrist, Dr. McClain WILL NOT disappoint!! ! THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. McCLAIN!

I have been going to Urban Optics since they split from Greene Eyes and have always had an immaculate experience with my optometrists, Dr. Ross and Dr. Greene. The visits are brief, yet thorough because these men know what they’re doing. The staff are not pushy about buying frames and will willingly give you a printout of your prescription even knowing you’re purchasing elsewhere. I drive in from Austin to see them!

I am incredibly pleased with my experience at Urban Optics. Dr. Ross was thorough, friendly, knowledgable, and most of all, respectful of what I had to say. As a patient, feeling like I am being heard is the most important thing. Then there's the staff: EXCEPTIONAL! I had the pleasure of working with Lauren B. who exceeded my exceptions. She was friendly, attentive, and showed that she genuinely cared about helping me find the right glasses and contacts. I am very thankful a coworker recommended Urban Optics to me!
