Benefit acupuncture has been a game changer for me since undergoing disc replacement spinal fusion surgery! I'm so happy I tried acupuncture. After surgery, my right hip was numb, and I couldn't feel my calf's or feet. I did not experience this prior to surgery. It was result of nerve bruising. After seven months following the surgery I had not seen any progress. I feared that I had experienced nerve damage and would never have full sensation in my feet and calfs again. Now, having gone to acupuncture three times a week for only several weeks, I have complete feeling in my left leg and foot, and the right has improved a ton. Hillary has also mastered treatment for my sciatic nerve pain in my buttocks. She is truly a superior acupuncturist. She is so knowledgable and exceeds the highest level of regard to acupuncture. Each session, she strides to achieve superior results and release of all pain. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone that experiences pain of any kind. Over Christmas of last year (2022) I herniated two discs in my neck which left me unable to raise my arms, sit or perform any strenuous activity such as simply walking for over a minute. I was limited to standing which caused severe discomfort or remaining prone which caused marginally less discomfort. Once I had been diagnosed by my neurosurgeon whose only remedy was to OPERATE ON MY SPINE!! I chose to visit Dr. Lai as an alternative to surgery. This isn't going to be a miracle recovery story where after one session I was cured and Dr. Lai was very frank that this was a two session a week condition and would take months rather than weeks to resolve. However, what I can say is that after the first session there was a tangible reduction in my pain, an increase in mobility and a marked improvement in well being. I had walked into acupuncture with an open mind, after all it's been practiced for over 1000 years however, the benefit being riddled with needles brought was startling. After almost three months of treatment my original condition is almost completely resolved but I still visit Dr. Lai once a week to help with the discomfort of returning to fitness after spending almost five months in bed. Dr. Lai is a consummate professional and based on my recovery her technique is of the highest skill. If you are unwell you could do worse than to ask Dr. Lai for a consult.

Wonderful practice! So far I’ve had three sessions with Dr. Lai to help with migraines and I can truly say she is great at what she does; great bedside manner too. I’ve felt more relief doing acupuncture and cupping these last three weeks than I’ve felt in several years doing medical treatment with my neuro. Facility is beautiful, clean and in a great location. She also checks with insurance to see if her service is covered.
