I'm not one to rant too often but when incompetence affects my Mother...all gloves are off. The nursing and Health care at Homestead of Collinsville has been, without question, above par for the last 100 days. The administrative support in helping her get long-term care has been a totally different story. No returned phone calls, no support whatsoever with the medicaid process. We picked that facility because of the medicare ratings and the administrator at the time was extremely helpful. That administrator has now moved on and the finance director has been as unresponsive as an empty water bottle. On the next to the last day, they tell my sister, Rita that Mom goes on private pay in 2 days... after telling me for 2 months not to worry about it... All I can say is, if mother ever needs full-time care again, it won't be provided there.

FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION READ ALL. MY BROTHER PASSED AWAY BECAUSE YOU THIS NURSING HOME LACK OF ANY CAREAUGUST 2 2021Bad place if you have loved ones her. Check on them regularly. My brother became I gess a little trouble. To be expected. They were over medicated him. Hes a really good one.ARE YOU AWARE OF THIS ELDERLY PATIENTS. DO HAVE STEMULESS CHECKS.BUT THE OWNER IS TAKING THE DIRECT DEPOSIT OFF THE DISABILITY AND RETIREMENT FUNDS AND POCKETING IT.IT IS ELEGAL FOR ANY ONE TO TAKE THEM STSMULES MONEY. IRS HAS A HOT LINE FOR THIS.THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSIONYOU WILL FIND THIS PLACE IS ELEGALYHOLD THERE STEMULES CHECHS.FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION.Up DATE MY BROTHER WAS SO BADLEY ABUSED.HE PASSED AWAY AUGUST 2 2021.OSTEOMYELITIS HE GOT FROM NO CARETOOK HIS LIFE.I NEVER RECEIVED HIS MEDICAL RECORDS ARE HIS FINANCIAL RECORDS.ACORDEN TO ITS. AT THIS TIME THIS NURSING HOME HAS INBESLED HES STEMULES CHECHS AND WITH HELD MEDICAL FILES. THAT COST HIM HIS LIFE.PLEASE PUT YPUR LOVED ONES SOME WERE ELSE.at 63 years 5 mount

The home is a clean comfortable living environment for a variety of residents with diverse needs. The medical care is therapeutic in the way Nursing Staff and CNA's attend to the needs of each of the residents. The home is brightly decorated according to the changing seasonal holidays and different seasons. The caring volunteers spend time investing in the brightness of the home that stimulates the senses and provides a feeling of belonging. Many activities help in the daily routines of the residents allowing them integration with participation of fun and thought provoking stimuli. I recommend this long term care home for all needs.

Please don't put family here they are always short staffed give poor care no real choices on meals I wasn't notified when my brother passed away other family that worked there notified me of his passing
