Six months ago (11-21), I took my 94 year old father to see Dr Afzal. Upon leaving we made our 6 month follow-up appointment for May-22. Dad had a heart related hospitalization in early May while he was out of town, and spent 8 days in the hospital. When he was released we were to see his heart doctor for an after hospital visit. It just so happened that we already had our 6 month follow-up in a few days..how lucky. He was still experiencing swelling in his feet, legs, hand hands, and just feeling weak. We got our usual email reminder May 29th from Healing Hearts system , and I confirmed the appointment. We got dad up and drove the hour to the appointment, only to be told we didn't have one. They didn't have us on the schedule, and the doctor was not even in. I showed her my appointment confirmation, and she reiterated we weren't on the schedule. The appointment reminder came from their office and had been on my calendar for 6 months. No apologies, no trying to accommodate an elderly man in a wheelchair, no questions as to what was his condition, just move along. Next in line please. A heart doctors office with no heart! UPDATE: My father had a stroke that very night. He survived, but has some left side paralysis. I was told Dr. Afzal would be informed and made rounds at the hospital we were in, but never saw him.

Dr Afzal and his staff were very friendly and professional and every task was done in timely manner l recommend them strongly.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nurse was very thorough. I need a lot of blood work and imaging to get a complete work up so this first visit was short. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because I think the doctor is a bit dry, personality wise. I'm still really happy with this clinic and will recommend to my friends and family.

Dr. Afzal was professional and thorough. With recommended test all completed in-house, all were scheduled within the week. I highly recommend Dr. Afzal.

The office staff at Healing Hearts Clinic almost got me fired from my job. They did not complete or turn in my return to work and support documents in the right way to my employer. That was sad because Dr. Adnan Afzal is a great cardiologist who gave me excellent treatment for possible heart blockage. I had to go to the office staff several times and tell them how to do my paperwork every step of the way. After that, it was completed, signed, and sent in on time.

Saw Dr. Afzal on a recommendation and glad I did. Did a cath. and found a 100 % blockage and moved quickly to get me to a surgeon. He is very professional and attentive.

My father, who is in desperate need of a heart procedure in order to *maybe* get some quality of life, got approved through the VA to have Dr. Afzal do the procedure. After hours upon hours of fighting to get this approved so that he didn't have to pay out-of-pocket, we get to the hospital to find out that, although the VA approved the procedure a week ago, Dr. Afzal's office refused to process it via anything but Medicaire, which will cost my father $1,500. It is absolutely pitiful, and I have no words whatsoever to say to such an inhumane, careless, and flat-out LAZY office.
