Never, ever have I dealt with a Doctor's office with front office staff that are less apathetic than the individuals associated with Conroe Family Physicians. I have been trying for the past three weeks to make an appointment with their office and the amount of misinformation provided, failure to return phone calls in a timely manner and their overall refusal to work with my insurance company to simply verify that Dr. Christopher Chapman is my PCP on record is overall disheartening and further illustrates that this Doctor's office needs to completely restructure their protocols for insurance verification. I can not fathom that they initially refused to contact my insurance company for PCP verification, then informed me that they will not accept phone calls from the insurance company to verify my PCP and finally after 3 weeks of waiting for their system that interfaces with my insurance company to be updated; I was told today, "We are waiting on a resolution from the insurance company". I too have spoken to my insurance company on 4 different occasions, submitted 2 complaints regarding their (my insurance company) failure to update my information correctly so that Conroe Family Physicians can validate Dr. Chapman is my PCP so that I can simply make an appointment as a New Patient. The end result is: my insurance company updated their internal system correctly, which is why I have been in receipt of an insurance card that identifies him as my PCP. The problem is on behalf of Conroe Family Physicians computer issues not correctly interfacing with the insurance company. When I spoke to Conroe Family Physician's office approximately 25 minutes ago, I was told verbatim, "We have another individual with this same problem and it has been a couple of months. We don't know when the issue will be fixed." This is a completely unacceptable response from a Healthcare Provider office. If anything, it would seem logical to have a work around solution so that patients can get the medical care they need. Also, having a much more pleasant attitude towards customers with issues may be beneficial. The office staff should bear in mind, that while this is your everyday job, it is our lives that are being affected as patients. In conclusion, thank you Conroe Family Physicians for allowing me to waste my time with your office staff for 3 weeks trying to make an appointment with Dr. Chapman and then making me feel as though you don't care whether or not the issue is fixed and offering me the option to find another PCP. My review and advice to Conroe Family Physicians office is provide better customer service training to your front office staff, increase your expectations of how said office staff treats potential patients and provide alternative solutions to your office technology issues.

Dr Chapman has the best bed side manors. He takes the time to explain everything. He personal will call you back if you need him. He is the best doctor my husband and I have ever had.

My first time to meet Dr. Chapman was a great he listens and explains the why and how come.. I highly recommend him.

My husband and I started seeing Dr Chapman around 10 years ago and we will NEVER change doctors! He is a great doctor, always on top of things and works with you to ensure that all you medical issues are addressed.

Last Update: received a call today from Manager Stephanie....she was so polite and got it all taken care of. It’s nice being able to speak to her and knowing that someone in billing does care. Thanks so much 🙌🏻 UPDATE: went for a yearly physical and they have not billed as preventative care for labs ( this is what yearly physicals should be billed as) According to my insurance they billed it differently, not preventative as it should have been!!!!. Did not get blood drawn for anything additional than yearly regular. So now I have to drive down there with the Bill?!!! Because I have been asked to go, now I got to go. I have to drive down there, take time to sort this out 😑, also charging for other things. First time ever getting charged extra for a physical that my insurance covers fully. ???! Billing needs to improve. I still like the doctor, but billing is a complete nightmare I can’t even begin to describe the doctor at this facility. My doctor is truly amazing, I just moved and first time here I never felt so heard and so well understood. They have a lab in the office and it’s just the best experience by far. I know I am going to be well looked after and I won’t be changing doctors any time unless I move.
