List of Nikko Dermatology - Conroe Dermatology's Reviews
Dr. Nikko and his entire staff are Easily, the best dermatology clinic that I’ve dealt with They always go above and beyond to find the best remedy
I was looking for a dermatologist to get my daughter started on some kind of treatment before prom—her skin was breaking out really badly and we needed to act fast. I decided to bring my son too since he’s also dealing with some pretty bad breakouts. I found Nikko Dermatology and was actually lucky enough to get a same-day appointment, which I appreciated. They sent me a link to fill out paperwork ahead of time, which I did, but then when we showed up, I had to fill out the same forms again on paper. Not sure why that was necessary. I was the only one there with both kids, and we still ended up waiting a bit. The office itself was clean, and the doctor was nice. I was told the prescriptions would be sent electronically, but here we are—almost two weeks later—and nothing has been sent. I’ve called FIVE times. Each time I’m told there was some sort of error sending the prescriptions. They say it’s been “fixed,” I wait the 30 minutes to an hour they mention, I call back, and still—nothing. Finally, someone told me they’d personally call the pharmacy. Why couldn’t that have been done the second or third time? I get that my kids aren’t the only patients, but going in circles for two weeks just to get a prescription filled is exhausting—especially when the visit cost nearly $400. It feels like they’re quick to bring you in as a new patient, but once you're in the system, the follow-through just isn’t there. Sadly, I wouldn’t return to this location. **Update*** The prescriptions were finally sent—some will be ready for pickup today, and one won’t be available until Thursday. Just for context, I had the appointment on April 10th… and it’s now April 22nd. That’s a long wait for something that should’ve been handled much sooner.
Cathleen was very attentive a d friendly. Offered lots of advice on better care of our skin. Recommend this practice.

Great service and staff
Oh my I can’t say enough good things about Dr Nikko and he’s staff at the Conroe Location. From my consultation with Dr Nikko and he’s staff, to Kelly helping me with all my questions and bookings, to everyone there being so kind and helpful I just felt so happy with everything. My procedures went amazing and the prices were definitely affordable. A week later and everything is looking great. I will definitely be going back there. An Absolute Brilliant place.
Fantastic attention to my problem
I absolutely love this place! I have been seeing Dr. Nikko for over a year now, at the Conroe location, and I can confidently say that he never disappoints. I have severe eczema, and he respected my desire to find a more natural approach to treatment. He never made me feel like my concerns were unreasonable; instead, he understood where I was coming from. After a year of trying to change my diet and using various creams, I decided to abandon the "natural" route. Dr. Nikko then recommended injections, and wow, do they work! I wish I had listened to him sooner. The staff is wonderful, and Dr. Nikko takes the time to thoroughly investigate what is going on with your skin. You can really tell that he is motivated to achieve great results for his patients and isn't just out to take your money. If I ever meet anyone in need of a dermatologist, I will definitely recommend him!
After searching for a dermatologist that was actually available, we came across Dr Nikko in need of treatment for a sore. We spent a lot of time doing paperwork and waiting in the office, then in the room the nurse was helping us a lot. She did a great job, but Dr Nikko himself may as well be a quack. He came in for only 5 minutes and he said that it must be surgically removed in Houston, assured me he doesn’t take certain insurances, and how I can either pay certain financing options or pay $3000, give or take with anesthetic. Not how I never mentioned he told us about any sort of treatment or infection prevention. The first thing he did was take a two second look at the sore, didn’t bother to at least seem like he’d like to see pictures of how bad it gets, and then immediately go after me with the money talk. He randomly prescribed a medication and that was about it. The biggest tell that he has no idea what he’s talking about was when he told me that because my insulin levels were so high, I’d need to take care of the problem as soon as possible. Hmm, funny you mention my insulin levels, seeing as how you didn’t once take any blood or urine samples. All he did was talk, assume, and give me prices. Cannot possibly recommend this guy, seems like he got his doctorate as a prize from a lucky charms box. I basically just payed 60 bucks plus $8.00 for my new prescription just to get a Ted talk on how financing works.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
