List of Rodney Laningham's Reviews
I think he is a great doctor and his office and staff are top notch. Wait times are minimal and they are quick to respond when needed. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my healthcare needs. It is a privilege to have him as my primary doctor.
Takes great care of his patients and very thorough!
They stopped seeing sick patients in office. What’s the point of being a doctor then? Looking for a new office because the only reason to go to the doctor is because you’re sick and need to know what it is and what medicine needs to be prescribed.
WARNING: REQUEST AND REVIEW your medical records! I received mine and discovered medical conditions listed on my chart are NOT mine. Also conditions resolved as long ago as 2018 medications STOPPED, indicated as active! Cut and paste. Unpredictable, unprofessional, unavailable, unethical. He is so busy creating new "income streams" to sell it appears he has no time to actually practice medicine. I confronted him about canceling several of my appointments. I had to see the nurse practioner I didn't know on my last few appointments. I expressed my frustration to staff about the continued cancelation of my appointments. One we got in the exam room (he stated) staff told him "I complained about him". Based on my "complaint" he told me he could no longer see me as a patient and it was "best I find a new doctor". No notice, no plan to address my current medical situation at my "appointment" I thought I was there for and probably billed for. His concern, I had said I was frustrated with him and expressed it to a staff person. I even told him yes, I have been frustrated you are not here and I count on YOU MY DOCTOR. My opinion he was upset to be confronted by a woman. Dr Jason Laningham gave me ZERO notice after 13 years as his patient. Actually "abandoning" with no real cause, no formal notice leaving me to cope with medical issues he completely refused to address. To add additional stress to this he was not even willing to provide my typical 90 day refills to give me time to find a new doctor. All RX's he has prescribed for me some over the entire 13 years. At first I literally begged him not to drop me. Dr Jason Laningham was as cold as ice his affect showed zero emotion or care. He said not only would he not see me when I asked about the other MD in his office he then said I could not see the other MD or anyone in his practice because he is "the boss". To further add insult to injury to me, my husband is his patient. I said what about my husband? Dr Laningham stated he planned to still keep my husband as his patient. He further stated I was "mean" to his staff when I would call. I asked the staff in front of the doctor if I had been "mean" to anyone of them and they all said no. I knew I had never had any issue with Peggy, Leslie, or Stephanie. They are the only ones I spoke with except a receptionist from time to time. They each stated, never have you been mean. And they are exceptional. Clearly he was upset a woman (me) addressed being repeatedly dismissed for scheduled appointments. He must not like being held responsible for his actions. His staff has spoken to me off the record they too are aware he is gone more and more and it's a problem. Some are looking for new jobs. The staff were shocked as stated by the nurse who called me later that day. I left in tears. If the staff member didn't tell him what I said, then I wonder if they record phone calls? Keep that in mind, its apparently not OK to say anything but the glowing accolades about him. Beware. You may be dumped like a dog at the pound. With no prescriptions, no doctor lined up, abandonded, no advance notice....and at 65+ years old I see this doctor has clearly lost the compassion he had when I met him. He was new, young, and kind before. He could remember my conditions. Now, he can't take time to review a chart before he comes in the room and he's near clueless what is going on with me as his patient. All I can say is God did me a favor. I'm grateful I spoke up. He is the owner of that BIG GIANT PRACTICE. He is the boss. AND, I know God was in that room and saw him. I wouldn't want the karma coming his way when he is old. I deserved much better than to be dumped with zero notice after thirteen years. Something seriously changed with both him and his method of practice. I guess his multi-million dollar expansion has drastically affected his compassion. My opinion, he traded it for partial down payment and collateral. I see a big giant new facility, and a doctor who lost his main goal.. patient priority, personal ethics, compassion, and his soul. I feel sorry for him.

I have been seeing this doctor for about eight years. Great staff and they do lab work on site; no driving all over for it. I have no complaints at all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
