Called for a routine problem that could have been resolved by speaking with Dr. Shirodkar, Staff/ Gate Keeper was unhelpful. I will be retuning there.

Dr. Shirodkar perform HOLEP (Holmium Laser E nucleation of the Prostate) on me. He had told me that this is the latest and greatest procedure for enlarged prostate. It took him only 11 minutes to get it done. Right after the procedure he told my wife that some one had already done half of the job for him! Well, the whole thing was nothing short of a NIGHTMARE. I was in pain and misery for over 6 month. I had to see another urologist who told me that I'm NOT a candidate for laser procedure. A condition that Dr. Shirodkar could not figure it out and put me in a six month of pain and agony. He is sure in competent and I would not recommend him to anyone.

Horrible. Withheld life threatening information and at next appointment had his staff lie and say he had to leave and wasn't here. We saw him in his hall within his office talking with another patient. Very scarey.

Dr. Shiodkar ordered a CT scan and told us only about kidney stones he saw. The radiology report said "suggest MRI or PET scan" for liver lesions very worrisome for malignancy. The report was not shared with the primary doctor or anyone else. Is there really a reason a doctor should keep suspicion of cancer a secret?
