List of Kristen Currie's Reviews
My wife went to Emergency Room experiencing extreme breathing difficulties. She was in emergency and then critical care for several days before being transferred to general care where Dr. Currie was assigned to her. Of all the Doctors attending to her, Dr. Currie was the most helpful. She took charge and prescribed tests to find the underlying problem rather than band-aid cures. We are extremely grateful for her expertise.
I had my first visit with Dr. Currie after my cardiologist moved out of my network. Dr. Currie was very attentive to my situation, very helpful explaining different treatments available for my situation. I was amazed at Dr. Currie's thoroughness and desire to see I was comfortable with her recommendations. She took the time to explain new treatments available for my diagnosis which my former cardiologist would never have done. I was delightfully surprised to find a new doctor that took the time to listen to me and suggest options for me to choose. I will be recommending Dr. Currie and her staff to everyone I meet that has a heart condition. I am so happy and grateful that my old doctor stopped accepting my insurance. Blessing in disguise!!
On my first visit with Doctor Currie In my opinion, she was very rude. She did not introduce herself. She jumped in asking me questions and even said “I need to interrupt you” as I was answering one of her questions. She did not go over the EKG that was given to me by the nurse earlier. She wrote out a new prescription for my high blood pressure, she did not explain to me if I should discontinue the prescription I was already taking, or take them both. She then told me she would like for another doctor to see me. She didn’t explain why. She wrote down some instructions for me and said she was going to run make a copy to put in her records. She never came back. The nurse finally came in and said I could leave now. I asked her if the doctor was coming back in. She said “ no mam, she is on a phone call”. I told the nurse I had some questions for her. The nurse said” you can ask me” I felt like I was being pushed out the door. The doctor did leave instructions at the front desk for me.
Dr Currie was very Kind and friendly.Hope to see her again in Six months.
Dr. Currie was always professional, knowledgeable, and explained my options for treatment and test results in a manner that was easy to understand. She was always available to discuss my health options and understood my total health concerns. I would highly recommend her.
Dr. Currie is kind and attentive. Explains things in layman’s terms. As a woman that is important to me. She’s the best cardiologist.
I have been seeing Dr. Currie for the past six months. She is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. She listens to me and really cares about my health. First Coast Heart is lucky to have such an wonderful cardiologist in their practice. It’s rare to get such quality care in our small town. Thank you Dr. Currie!
My name is Charles. My Doctor is Kristin Currie. I am 80 Years old. I believe that under her care I may see 90 . She is intelligent and to the point when it comes to explanations in my case history ( congestive heart failure). Doctor Currie is like a friend and physician. I am very satisfied with her effortsand plan to make my goal of 90 years ( or better)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
