Dr Varin is a very knowledgeable Dr. He has a very caring and understanding manner. his bedside manner is perfect. He has a sense of humor that can be very easing when you are stressed. He is direct and to the point, but spends as much time as is needed to answer questions, explain procedures and results. I am blessed to have had him as my surgeon. the only issues i ever had is with making an appointment and getting calls returned. Someone has dropped the ball in communication in his office staff. The reception desk is however very friendly and efficient.

one of the best Doctors I have ever seen. Amazing in his field perfect bedside manner. Very Straightforward. spends all the time you need listening and explaining. Would highly reccomend him to anyone needing surgery of this kind.

Excellent DR. I was in really bad shape with a Diverticulitis and a leaky colon. Had been dismissed by Spohn hospital with antibiotics. He took me on and corrected the problem. I oh this man my life.

We absolutely loved Dr Varin! He has a very straightforward style relating to his patients. He is skilled and professional. You couldn’t be in better hands if you find you need surgery. The office runs like a well oiled machine. Overall we highly recommend Dr. Varin and his staff!

This office gets a 1 Star; because I cannot give them a Zero Star ratting, simply due to its rude staff. As a Veteran; just trying to do what all his Doctors tell him to do, with authorization numbers from Tri-West in hand; I was treated as if I was nobody and not worthy of medical treatment by this offices staff. I hope the way they treated me costs this office a whole bunch of money in the future. I was told by this offices Appointment Scheduling Representative that because "I was a Veteran going through Tri-West for health care" that I would not be seen by this office because they do not deal with the VA and Tri-West appointments. In response to that I promptly called Tri-West and Veterans Affairs and cancelled all monetary authorizations to this office and am in the process of rescheduling any further care outside of Corpus Christi and any office here for future appointments.

called this office about 6 weeks ago phone lines werent working had to find and go into office to be given information and again today i called and the answering service states phone not working . thank god the lady gave me a contact number for new patient when i walked in 6 weeks ago. hopefully they call me quickly have urgent matter and need to be seen.. ive heard dr varin is wonderful lets home i can get in quickly
