Since moving back to Portland (Corpus Area) from Houston I have found very few (2) good doctors. Dr. Schechter is one of the 2!

Dr. Schecter is friendly and caring. He spends a lot of time in the exam room with you and all exams are thorough. He makes sure all medications are up to date and are able to be taken with other medication. His nurses are super nice.

I have been seeing Dr. Schechter for the last 3 years. I don't normally leave reviews on individuals but I feel as though it would be a travisty not inform the public how wonderful Dr. Schechter is. Years ago I had an episode & I had went to another Dr office to try & find out what was wrong with my heart. I left feeling defeated with no answers. A friend recommended Dr Schechter's office. As soon as I entered into the Dr office I felt welcomed and they did the basic tests , ekg , blood pressure weight etc. Dr Schechter (Dr S) came in & sat next to me & explained what I had and just to be sure sent me to run all the tests. To this day Dr S has amazing bedside manner, very kind & he explains everything. He is funny , very intelligent & probably knows something about everything. Even though he is busy with many patients he still makes you feel like your the only one that matters at the time. Thankful for Dr Schechter & his office. The entire staff & other Doctors that I have met are also very nice & professional.

First time ever had any heart/stroke issues..He took the time with all the questions and the staff has been prompt and courteous . Dr. Schechter and Staff are the team that can help you . I have been around the world and I know the difference between First Class and Coach.

Dr. Charles Schechter was bestowed a gift to help people, and that he did with me. I see when in his office the countless people he has helped, his unselfisness to put the care and well being of the patient before the money says that this man is a gift from heaven and I was blessed to have been given the honor to have him as my doctor. I can never thank him but know that he is in my prayers and this man has a place in heven for men like him are rare and very valuable, thank you Dr. Schechter.
