If I could give this place negative stars, I would.Where to begin? Let's start off with the lack of professionalism. The staff there has been very rude and dismissive to my daughter. Every time she has a question, she gets blown off and the issues at hand are never addressed. It took several appointments for them to address her anemia as well as her asthma attacks which all worsened during the course of her pregnancy this far. Oh, and let's not forget about the lengthy waits in the waiting room, prior to them absentmindedly shuffling you around from room to room.Next we can go on to the ultrasounds. She has has three ultrasound appointments and not one of the sets of pictures have come back as something that is recognizeable. The images are quite literally blobs. I have had plenty of ultrasounds to know what they are supposed to look like. What she got back, is not that. You would be better off having a three year old sketch them out.So, from this point on, we will take her back up to the doctors by Ft. Hood, as they are more professional, knowledgeable, and most likely do an all around better job.Maybe this is the norm for Corpus but I am not willing to set the bar so low.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff is rude and unprofessional. Dr Canterberry cannot be bothered to work Fridays and even if your appt is scheduled 4 weeks in advance the staff will try to reschedule you. Appts don’t mean anything as you will wait 1-2 hours no matter what. I am 21 weeks and will be taking my business elsewhere.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Horrible staff. I am 21 weeks pregnant and have never met Dr Canterberry. Appts scheduled 4 weeks in advance are not honored. Calls to the nurse are not responded to. Staff does not take accountability for their actions or lack there of. I will be looking for a new Dr half way thru my pregnancy because of these issues. Some would say to brush it off; but I plan on having another right after this one and refuse to be treated by this staff during another pregnancy.

Dr. Canterbury has to be the most knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate doctor I feel I have ever met! I always feel at ease when I talk to her and she is always so willing to take the time to listen to her patients and make them feel very much at ease. I am very fortunate to have such a great doctor on my side who is truly concerned about her patients.Aurora

Poor experience with the receptionist and the assistants regarding making an appointment, referrals, and insurance BUT...Dr. Canterbury is AMAZING and so worth the wait and hassle, I had to wait two months to see her. She made me feel so comfortable and listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions so effectively and caring. So thankful I was referred to her and was able to get an appointment.Could not write enough good things about her and how great she is but the office she works at does not reflect the same.

Short version:Dr. Canterbury may very well be a great OB, but the staff is not up to par with Dr. Canterburys credentials. Also, what does it matter if she is a great OB, if you never get to see her. I would rather get a less popular OB that I get to interact with.Long version:I was not going to be able to get an appointment until I was 12 weeks pregnant! Then I opted to see the NP for Canterbury. I was told "only the first visit" then I would have the next visits with her. I was scheduled for a sonogram at 1030am and appointment with the NP at 130pm. The day of the appointment I called to verify where to go then they told me that I was not scheduled for the sonogram appointment at 1045! I was assured that I would be scheduled for a sonogram when I went to my appointment at 130. I get to my appointment and they tell me they called me to reschedule my appointment. I did not have any missed calls. At this point I just wanted to cry. I am a first time pregnant mother. I am scared and concerned about what is happening to my body and I do not need this kind of added stress. Dr. Canterbury may very well be a great OB, but the staff is not up to par with Dr. Canterburys credentials. Also, what does it matter if she is a great OB, if you never get to see her. I would rather get a less popular OB that I get to interact with. I am currently looking at other Doctors.

I love love LOVE her!!!! 2 babies, same Dr! During delivery of my daughter, I had a scary moment that transitioned us from a vaginal delivery already at 8cm to an emergency c. Dr. Canterbury was amazing at making sure, very calmly, that I understood what was happening and why. She took charge and made everything happen very quickly. Within minutes, I was prepped and on the table. Almost immediately my daughter was delivered safely. I will never recommend anyone other than Dr. Canterbury! If I ever have another child, she will be my Dr again!

Dr. Canterbury is WORTH driving from LAREDO to CORPUS!! I am so grateful to have her as my doctor!!! BEST OBGYN for SOUTH TEXAS :)

I called this number 4 times because I am a new patient, no answer. I left a voicemail but haven't heard anything back. It was around 2-3pm so I know they weren't on lunch break. Very unprofessional. Took my business elsewhere.

Dr Canterbury is the only thing good about this office... front desk staff is very rude!! If you have any complaints don’t even bother telling anyone there because they are all the same. Don’t trust them to follow through with anything you ask from them. Oh and also don’t expect them to ever answer the phone cause they never do. Horrible communication skills.
