Dr. Mckeena has been our daughters Cardiologist for 11 years. We see him every 6 months, and she loves him! We see a multitude of Specialist due to her very rare syndrome, and Dr. Mckeena is the only Dr. with a "human" bed side manner! He is direct and to the point but will discuss everything to you like your having coffee talk with your friends. Hes very professional with a great personality!!!

Dr. McKenna was an adequate cardiologist while treating my child during end stage heart failure. However, he seemed out of his depth once transplantation was being considered. He advised that my child was not a candidate for transplantation. We sought additional opinions, my child received transplantation and is enjoying life. Potential patient families should ask detailed questions about his direct treatment of transplant candidates.

My son has been seeing him since 4/2013 when he was a NICU baby from St. Joseph Women Hospital. I am so happy to have A Pediatric Cardiology that cares about the child. Now my son D is almost 4 yrs old.

This guy saved my life when my odds of surviving were low (only like 20%). He's very caring, knowledgable and great with children. He's very busy but once you find him rest assured you will be okay!

We love Dr. McKenna. He's caring, sensitive, and connects well with children. He is our daughter's non-invasive cardiologist, and we are so happy to have met him (even though we wish it had been under different circumstances).
