I walked up to the door and a gentleman open the door but didn't let me in, he just asked if I had an appointment didn't offer to schedule me appointment and seemed like he just wanted me to hurry up and leave. Very bad customer service.
Even during a pandemic Dr. Dinh and his staff have been able to keep a level of professionalism that is unmatched ! He's kept his workplace safe not only for his patients but his entire staff . My wife and I have been going to Dr. Dinh TSO for over five years . In and out for thorough eye exams and the turnaround is great ! I highly recommend visiting this TSO for all your vision needs . Great name brand frames and even prescription sunglasses ! These guys are great. Thank you ! Carlos Marroquin
Here on vacation and my daughter had a problem with her contacts. Unfortunately she forgot to pack spares I called this office and spoke to Marco. He was unwilling to help and couldn't even suggest anywhere else that might be able to help in an emergency. Eventually he reluctantly offered to check if he had any sample contacts suitable but only if I would purchase 2 full boxes of contacts and pay shipping to my home in Houston. Wow! I contacted the nearby TSO at 5717 Saratoga Blvd. They where more than willing to help. When they didn't have her usual contacts they called my local TSO optician and got permission for a close equivalent. They very kindly gave us 2 FREE samples boxes to tide her over until we're back home. Why would anyone use this office when the TSO at 5717 Saratoga Blvd clearly provides a more caring and efficient service.
After a few days with my glasses, I realized that my left eye wasn't getting used to the new prescription. I looked at my nose pads and they weren't even/centered. I went back and within just a couple minutes of arrival, my glasses were adjusted and suddenly my left eye relaxed and could focus easily. I have to admit that I didn't wait long enough at first fitting to make sure that everything was proper...I was on an errand from work and kind of zipped in to pick up my glasses. Take your time and make sure. They will gladly listen to your concerns and try out whatever it takes to get your glasses properly fit.I take the blame for this one. And when I came back, they were extremely helpful. And now properly adjusted for my nose/face...the prescription is on the money.
Nice to see the TSO brand back out there. When I was a teen, this was the best place in Tex to come for quality eyeglasses. The chain got bought up and disappeared under another brand. Now it's a privately owned franchise. This location is in the new Parkdale/Walmart center. VERY modern facility and access is super easy. It's a medium sized optical shop with very friendly and helpful staff. I'm taller than average and as such require larger frames which I truly cannot find at the larger chains. Why they decide not to stock such frames, I cannot imagine. So I spend an afternoon shopping from one optical shop to the next. Glasses have gotten expensive for quality frames and lenses. NOTE: the discount shops are NOT delivering on the better lenses and frames. Just accept that. The prices quoted to me here were of the best two (tied) of 6 different shops we got to. Their frame selection was quite impressive for my needs. My last specs lasted me 6 years but my sight slipped in the last several months...so I had high expectations for quality...and like I said, the price increases shocked me a bit. Last pair was about $250 and this one ran me $475. Not cheap, but cheapest of the shops we went to. There's one place on Alameda that couldn't come close to the quote...by over $200!!The selection, the courteous staff, the helpfulness of said staff and the quality of the delivered glasses are all top notch. I was told up to 10 days...they came in in 5. The fit and finish can't be beat. TSO at Parkdale: thank you and to anyone reading this...I cannot recommend this shop enough. Fantastic service and product. My future go-to optical shop.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
