Five years ago I had gastric sleeve surgery by Dr. Stegemann. He and his staff did an excellent job preparing me for the procedure, guiding me on nutrition and after care. The procedure went well and I've had zero complications over the five year period. The max weight loss I experienced was 100 lbs, but have settled into about an 85 lb loss range from my high weight. Dr. Stegemann continues to monitor my progress and well being to this day.

Dr. Stegemann is a fantastic Doctor and Surgeon!! The staff is the most professional and actually cares about their patients. This office is the total package. The after care is unparalleled especially in Corpus Christi , the staff of medical professionals are all hands on. Dr Stegemann is one of the most caring people I have ever met. He worked very hard to solve my problem and I always felt like he believes me (even when I think I might be going crazy!)When I have surgical needs he will be the first one I go to!

Dr.Stegemann performed my gastric bypass in May 2009..he is an awesome surgeon,and just an overall wonderful person who also has become my friend...I feel God sent me to him and Dr.Stegemann has saved my life! I look forward to my follow-up with him each month,he always makes me feel good with the things we discuss and I am so lucky to have him as my surgeon..I would recommend him to anyone who needs to have obesity surgery
