I met Dr.Eggleston at Portsmouth Naval Hospital after having past issues with miscarriages. After becoming pregnant with my daughter, Dr. Eggleston quickly diagnosed my issues and delivered a healthy beautiful baby girl. Eight weeks later, I was pregnant with my son. Dr Eggleston delivered my son 11 months after my daughter was born. These kids are now 17 and 18. You will not find a more compassionate man and brilliant doctor.
Dr. Eggleston did not show any professionalism during my visit. He instead spoke in a very demeaning and condescending manner. I do not recommend him to anyone I know.
Dr. Egglestob is hands down the best doctor I've ever had. He guided us through our difficult pregnancy in 2013 and never left our side. He shared his own experiences with us and we all shared tears together. He always went above and beyond. He didn't candy coat things and was very honest about not knowing for sure if our son would make it outside of the womb or not. He was always by our side and never rushed. He was genuine and literally the best doxtor I know. I wish we didn't have to move away!! Our son is now 16 months old and we are forever grateful for the care provided from Dr. Eggleston. I truly believe part of the reason our son is still here is because of him. :)
Where to begin and what to say. It was 26 years ago. I had pre term labor at 22 weeks gestation, and ultimatley my water broke. I was sent to Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City Tennessee. This is where I first met Dr. Maurice Eggleston. Oh, he is a true gem, one of the finest I have ever met. For the next 55 days I say his bright smiley face in my room to check in on me and his "little squeek". He would pat my tummy and ask "Hows my little squeek today?" He always took his time to answer any questions I had. He sat with me many times, he even cried with me at one point when so many things seemed hopeless. My stay was expected to be 3 days -3 weeks but I suprised them all staying with ruptured membranes for 55 days. He even helped the nurses and interns coordinate a baby shower for me. My baby boy had a 20% survival rate, but he made it through with shinning colors. Dr. Eggleston made many trips to the nursery to visit and at one time asked if he could hold my little boy, where he said to him "Hello little fellow, I am your Uncle Maurice". The best Dr. ever to walk this earth. I was devistated to learn he left the area. The little squeek grew up from a 4 lb 7 week premature baby boy to a USMC Corporal. I love Dr. Eggleston and I recommend him with flying colors, consider yourself lucky to have him as part of your parinatal experience.
Just met this doc today and he spent hours in the room reassuring and guiding me. He is so aggressive medically speaking and so kind and gentle personally. I literally love him. I would trust him with anyone I care about! Hands down best doc ever.
This afternoon, our baby was stillborn; she died from Parvovirus. Dr. Eggleston was kind, gentle, very knowledgeable. He prepared us for the death yesterday by telling us of the realistic, but slim, chance of survival of our baby. He spent 2 hours sitting in our room with us, just talking, about us, our baby, his life and experience. Never once did he look at his watch or ever seem in a hurry. Dr. Eggleston is simply the best doctor I have ever met and an absolute expert in his field. If you have a high risk pregnancy anywhere near Indianapolis, Dr. Eggleston and his partner Dr. Sumners are the ones to see.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
